There are two ESPs in the download - TopalIsland.esp and Topal Island & Safe Water.esp. The latter is a much larger file and I'm not sure what the "Safe Water" part does distinctly from the main TopalIsland.esp, but it might account for the duplication some people have reported. I'm going to test it with just the TopalIsland.esp and see how I get on.
EDIT: The island looks OK from the outside with only one plugin loaded, so I'm guessing that the duplication issues are caused by people loading both plugins.
I just wanted to jump in and thank everyone for the positive comments on this mod over the years and apologies to those who have had issues. Seeing that people are still using and enjoying Topal Island after 15 years is immensely satisfying.
When Oblivion came out I had a lot of fun with the CS which eventually turned into Topal Island. Life took over after a few years and I moved on to other things with this being the only mod I created.
I'm going to work to restore the mod listing by adding in the original images (thanks to those who restored most of them!) and have adjusted the permissions so users if they want can upload fixed versions to address any issues that have up in the past 13 years.

I've been using this mod since it was first released, and it remains my favorite home in Oblivion or any other game. If I could live in a place like that in real life, I certainly would. Thank you for the work you've done and the impact you've made for so many years.
A beautiful, functional house that's shockingly compatible with every landscape mod I've thrown at it.
The only mark against it is that the exterior has a few issues, like certain structures floating. You can fill in the cracks in the toolset easily enough, but unfortunately the author hasn't been on in three years and the mod permission disallows the possibility of reuploading a 'fixed' version of it without their permission.
I just updated the permissions so a fixed version of the file can be uploaded to make the mod work with the latest mods.
I saw this comment below regarding the floating lighthouse: "Please note that the UOP optimizes and corrects the vanilla AnvilLightHouse01.NIF which is used by Topal.esp. This results in a flying lighthouse. To fix, simply backup and delete AnvilLightHouse01.nif from your meshes folder AND update you archive invalidation using the method of your choice."
Is there anyone more than me that have got a bug with this file? When I try to get to it it comes 2 of that woman Fog-eye and both ask me same question and give me same key.. it's like everything is double up...

you know, you COULD just ask one of the two new NPCs... they will gladly give you the key!
Anybody know of a patch with Leyawiin from Better Cities, or is none needed? It does conflict in landscaping a little...
