Well, the vanilla version is not acting like a replacer for me. I downloaded it twice and was not missing any files. I am using the DarN replacement menu xml. I am not running any other loading screen replacers. Check the esp and see if there is a problem on your end.
On the plus side, I get a good variety of loading screens, some from Skyrim, some from vanilla Oblivion.
@demni, no, this is a full replacer, you shouldn't see any old screens. The only time I could see that happen is if it's trying to load one of my files but is having a problem, possibly a corrupted file. Try re-downloading and re-installing.
The vanilla version doesn't replace the original loading screens, it just adds extras, is that correct? I seem to get a mix with more old screens than new ones. They are really well done.
