That is odd, because the fame change only happens when you change and that code only runs once, it undoes it when it ends. Perhaps there is another mod causing the grief and/or the version of your OBSE is not the required one?

This mod works wonderfully just as promised...but one problem I have found in this mod is that it keeps switching between maximum fame and maximum infamy like every 2 seconds which i find very unusual, im not sure if this is only me or if someone else is experiencing the same issues.

Let see if I can get these all done (past midnight, long day).

The idea of a spell to toggle the disguise, kind of causes a lot of breakage especially with the Mythic Dawn (because you can get into the Mythic Dawn area, turn off the disguise and run off with the book). You probably still could with waiting the 24 hour period the mod currently has, but when you do that, you wake up with everyone in there wanting to kill you (and at that point, doors may not open at all for you, so you may trap yourself in there and die for it). The spell idea, I did test that out (prior) to see how easy it would be, but the problem was, how to "slow down" people from going "poof, I'm a guard, poof, I'm a palace guard, poof, I'm a rabbit" (ok, that last one was for fun). The problem with the spell was, it did really break the disguise, think of it as an "under-cover assignment". Now some of the perks of being evil (and some of good), is that you can make multiple saves from certain points, and play those as separate characters, giving you the chance to say, (my fav) Necromancer, work on your spells, SUPER great for that (because you always have an undead summon going, and at least 1, so you're always casting). Got Grand Soul Gems, got something common+ in them, put those into the undead portal, get some undeads for companions, then get the Grand Soul Gems back, empty, great for making into Black Soul Gems. Black Soul Gems can also be used to revive dead undeads (yes, it sounds oxi).

As for the effect of the disguise being removed after you remove the equipment, same situation as the spell, poof, you're back to normal, worse, you're in the castle in a forbidden spot when you take something off and the guards and everyone pounce on you unprepared. Also, if you're a guard, there is down time (like some times, some sleeping mods offer you to change outfits when you sleep, those will ruin the disguise), so having the disguise last a day makes it easier for you to say, guard for 16 hours or something, then have some down time, like sleep, and get up, and put your stuff back on, keep going, this way, there's no alarms you're in a restricted area like the Battle Mages' sleeping area, taking your equipment off there and the disguise ending, without being allowed in there, you can't get out, the doors won't open.

I tried to come up with ideas, to make it more elaborate, but every time I thought, shorten this, try that, something always would cause it to break realism (such as the "out on the town after working as a guard, then off to bed" situation).

Re: OMOD, there's a readme (doubt anyone read that one, but it does state how to get the disguises going) and then the actual mod itself, not sure the OMOD would be of any use, just two files.

I do know that there is a mod that adds a spell called "Summon an Oblivion Gate", which you see in the photos, I actually was at the one in Kvatch. A little something that I didn't add into the readme (tired moment), is if you "activate" a monster associated with your current disguise, they'll follow you (sadly, not across load doors).

As for the SI mod additions, not a lot of people actually had or liked SI (I have it, liked it, never finished it yet though, always too busy to, will at some point). But one thing I do see, is it's easy to make quests for the disguises because the mod just has to check the player's inclusion into the factions necessary for dialogues. Since the disguise work is already done, quests and things to do could be done (like having bandits ransacking the town you're in, arresting people doing beer parties in the streets), various things like that. Or, on the evil side, people could make mods for necromancers to say fight the Mage's guild, Mythic Dawns, perhaps defending a gate against a town attack. Also, sadly, SI doesn't offer regular armors for the guards in there, you can't get them (not playable) without a modification and so many people have done that, it's hard to tell if/if not they've already been done. It'd also make a need for 2 versions for doing that, though if there's enough interest, I may add those, but I don't know what the guards there would do aside from wandering outside and attacking monsters and such.

As for a lower version of OBSE, sadly, I can't. The reason is, the mod uses functions of 20, for holding such things as your faction list. What I do is copy the faction information, remove all of it from you, only add those relevant to your disguise, then when it ends, remove all the factions, anything added to you (spells, etc) from the disguise, then put your original factions back.

Well, if anyone else has something ask, ask. I'm calling it a night, thanks everyone for the interest, nice to know someone else is enjoying the mod.

Oh, quick note, no clue why the merchant in Mythic Dawn is always in her armor, think she loves wearing it or something, strange, everyone else doesn't, and she's just a copy of someone else, guess shes afraid of showing her face. And no, she's not a double agent.

this mod has potential,, i will watch it, you know when u become god of SI and when u ask haskill if there is anything needed to be done to protect your kingdom? well could you take that script and add it to the imperial watch disguise? something like popping into the office and asking the captain if your needed anywhere and he might have a job for you or not,, just an idea

The concept is great and all but in my personal opinion I dont think that the disguise should still be in effect after taking off the disguise, at least not for a whole day after you remove it I also think that maybe a spell trigger would work good too...I have no idea if what i'm saying even makes sense, I hope so :p But great mod anyways
