The Novice/Apprentice/Journeyman/Expert/Master skill perks system in Oblivion is a very cool addition to the game. However, I felt that the in-game descriptions when you attained these rankings were stale and lacking in creativity. Reaching the rank of Master gave you the exact same message as when you reached Apprentice, except the titles and effects were swapped. The descriptions are now more dynamic and colorful than before, as becoming a master is quite different from becoming an Apprentice. It's just a little mod, but it was a good way to sharpen my creative writing skills and start my modding career at the same time. This mod also adds a book on the counter of First Edition Books in the Imperial City. It's a simple preview (read: shameless advertisement) for my upcoming mod, Ghostpath. Not really a big deal, and easily ignored.
