    This mod doesn't work, for anybody who may stumble on it in the future. The script seems to work as advertised for a good number of the creatures, but certainly not all. In my game (modded), I set creatures to do 2x damage in the .ini file, and summoned scamps became terrors who could do >250 damage in a single hit. It was pretty sweet, honestly, really good for a laugh.

    Use this one at your own risk is all I'm saying -- I think Oblivion made it kind of hard to do what this mod wants to do, and that's why there aren't a lot of mods that do it. I use a magic rebalance and Francesco's creatures, so maybe your install won't have fearsome hulking scamps the way mine does, but the script doesn't work perfectly as advertised so you may run into problems elsewhere. If, like me, you think unexpected problems are funny and interesting, I recommend you give this one a try.

    Other modders recommend the "Power Attack Fix" option in "Migck's miscellaneous fixes, tweaks and additions" for this creature damage control feature (Kobal/Zamir, to-my-knowledge-inactive author of Vanilla Combat Enhanced and Balanced Magic, recommends this mod). I don't know what that feature does, how it works, or if it behaves as advertised, I've never used it, but you may wish to consider it as an alternative
