I am not sure how to improve the performance hit beyond what has been done in the mod and still retain its features:
1) All scripts have minimizing CPU strain code (lots of returns) to ensure they are only processing what is needed. 2) Persistent items were reduced by use of GetSelf code in scripts 3) Global scripts are minimized 4) Splitting into two cells was considered and tried but it affected the ai animation adversely without any apparent improvement in FPS
May I ask how powerful is your machine?How does it compare to the testing hardware indicated in the mod description?
Thank you for sharing your mod. Great and useful idea lots of detail , no compatability probs etc... One major issue though and reason I wont use the mod as is it is in my case, is that the area is very laggy, and thats without any of my compaions added. Not sure if it's cause its all one giant cell or the amount of clutter,ai being processed,scripts running in the cell or all those combined ? I do like your mod very much and the npc's you added. I hope that maybe you could look at improving the performance hit in the area . If you can fix that I will endorse, and keep it in my load order.

Only thing I would like to see is it being connected by a door to the player homes. (I hate the thought of trying that myself...)

I do like your mod very much and the npc's you added. I hope that maybe you could look at improving the performance hit in the area . If you can fix that I will endorse, and keep it in my load order.
