I was talking more of the enchanted arrows. I use Marksman skill a lot but hate having to put like 30 - 50 arrows into a NPC to kill them. Of course, it may be because I play on maxi difficulty, too. Lol!
@weissyohji But It is impossible for you to soul trap when you are using a pre-enchanted bow like shadowhunt, which i use for the majority of the game. If you feel like this is useless, then just uninstall and don't look back
@ crowlotus: It's nearly impossible to run out of arrows in Oblivion! Iron arrows are very easy to come by--even more so if you use overhauls such as Francesco's, OOO, FCOM, WarCry, MMM, etc. I have never run out of iron arrows in the game.
@ OP: Not being able to enchant arrows? I thought Advanced Magecraft had such a feature. But all you really need is to enchant a bow. If you want to trap souls, just get any random bow, have a spell that does Soul Trap, a full soul gem (Ideally a Grand Soul Gem or Azura's Star), and access to an enchanting altar via the Arcane University or the Wizard's Tower DLC. Also, archery isn't underpowered, especially when you factor in alchemy.
It is fairly easy to not run out of my arrows, unless you go through more than 999 every three days, and if you find the cost unappealing you can just use the console to get more directly or through adding gold.
I believe that you are mistaken about what this mod does though. I changed the settings for arrow speed and arrow gravity, not the leveling rate, although I could do that.
Advanced Magecraft has a cloning feature that charges you for each thing you copy, you could always use that to get more arrows if you don't want them free?
I, too, find it hard leveling up my Archery Skills due to having to fire so many arrows. When I use enchanted arrows, it bugs me I run out so soon. Is it possible to make your arrows come in more quanities? I would love to download this mod, but if I run out of your arrows so soon then I am no better off than using the console commands. I hope you understand what I am trying to say. Thank you.
