    I love the idea of this mod. However when I installed it no dummy lockpick was added to my inventory. The minigame is disabled but I cannot even add the item via console. Not sure what is wrong.

    I really like this mod. The only thing I don't understand is whether it's possible to use the lockpick while swimming. I tried, and it didn't work with a very hard chest. Maybe it's a problem of different animations having to run together?

    very interesting idea, and I am really considering getting it. The only thing is, I kinda enjoy the lock-picking mini-game - sometimes -  so would love a version where this mod operates normally until the player is sent to prison.

    in prisons, it would be cool if one had to "manually"  crack the lock. 

    considering how rarely I get caught or break out of prison, it would be a great surprise to suddenly have to play a minigame I had not seen for many hours of game play ;-)

    Great mod. Encountered a few minor annoyances I'm wondering if it's possible to fix.

    1. Is it possible to adjust this mod so it uses the proper mouse button for lockpicking when mouse buttons are swapped in Windows control panel? I use the mouse with my left hand, and swapped the buttons in Windows. The game uses the correct button for swinging a weapon: the physical right button in my case. But this mod requires that I press the physical left button. Not a showstopper, but still...

    2. I'm using Extended UI which adds additional info about inventory items. It identifies the pseudo-lockpick tool as a short blade. Is it possible to tweak something (for this mod or for Extended UI) so the description is correct?

    3. Is it possible to disable the crouch animation? It's a bit odd when picking a lock at or above eye level.

      Any ideas on No. 1 (mouse buttons)? I've finished modding and am now playing the game, and having to click the "wrong" mouse button to pick a lock feels quite awkward.

    Sadly, this appears to be incompatible with controllers (via NorthernUI). You swing at the locked target as if it was a weapon instead of doing the lockpicking animation. You can actually lockpick this way if you first use the LMB to properly initiate the lockpicking, but that defeats the purpose of sticking to a gamepad.

    Not sure why, but I still get the vanilla lockpicking menu with this mod enabled.  I then have to close that menu before I'm able to pick locks in real-time.  Other than that, it seems to work as intended.

    Edit: just to clarify, I backed up the vanilla lockpick menu xml before replacing it with the one provided by this mod.  However, that didn't seem to do anything.  So, I figured that I'd also back up this mod's empty lockpick menu to my desktop and delete the one provided in the menu folder.... but that didn't do anything either. Still getting a lockpick menu.  Unless I'm wrong and you're supposed to get a menu to close out of? It doesn't seem like that'd be the case...

      I'm getting this issue to, but the weird thing is it only started after I fresh installed my game. before it worked without the vanilla menu

    Not sure if it's a bug/code limitation or I'm just doing something wrong, but changing the max uses for the skeleton key in the .ini file doesn't appear to work if you've already received the skeleton key in game.

    If there's some way I can make the changes happen, I'd appreciate some help. If not, the limitation should probably be noted in the mod description.

      It's working fine for me when I change the max uses mid-game.

    Great mod have been having a blast. However, due to another mod, I got confronted by a guard for my bounty, chose to option to serve the townspeople to get rid of it. That creates a sack at my feet and places all my items in it for later pick up. After I came back, the lockpicks weapon tool was not there. I have done this already one before, then the lockpicks weapon was in the sack, got it back. Come to think of it, I've had my items taken and the lockpicks weapon as well, and I have been able to reacquire them. This time it was gone.

    My question: Is there a way to get the lockpicks weapon tool? OR, having lost it means I have broken the mod and should reload from earlier save? I'd like to know now before I have invested too many hours on a broken save. Thank You in advance.

      Just add it back with the console
      player.additem xx000800 1

      "xx" being your mod index in your load order

      So I completely forgot I had asked this question and just reloaded an earlier save but now I got confronted with the same issue again. I even read here that the lockpick weapon automatically disappears when removed from player inventory, so adding it with console really saves the day, thanks!

      Edit: After some fiddling around I would like to comment in case someone runs into the same situation. after I got stripped from my inventory, I tried adding the lockpicks weapon with console and it "worked" but there was no lockpicks weapon in my inventory. I read in this here forum that one needs to actually have lockpicks the misc items, if player has zero lockpicks the lockpicks weapon will not show up. So in game I added 1 "0000000A" item which is misc lockpicks and suddenly I got the lockpicks weapon in my inventory as well. Hope this helps someone.

    This mod is amazing. It's configurable, not buggy, and just works perfectly for me. It really makes it like Morrowind but better!

    Anyone got an idea how to fix the first person camera issue for Enhanced Camera and similar? Once you use the lockpick it kinda messes up with the position of the camera. But I think this might have to do with 3rd person camera animations in 1st person.
