Looks good, the only problem I see is with the roof. You decided not change the vanilla brown color and I think that a mixture of blue and green seaweed color would be better. If not, make the brown color a bit darker, without the orange tone. Anyway, thanks.

The vanilla-style roof tiling is one of my favorite things about Anvil.

Edit: I changed my mind. This is a great idea. Done.

Hey, Khetty! This is lovely, very good. The LOD view fits smoothly with the sea. That's an artistic open mind. Thank you!

These look awesome and will not be departing from my install, however (always a however) do you have any LOD friendly textures kicking around, when they pop from grey to brown it's a bit distracting (not enough to make me uninstall, but it would be nice)

I've finally had a chance to poke at this. It's more complicated than I thought, because some of the LOD textures are composite images of the whole side of a building or a portion of the building. Not nearly as simple as just shrinking down the textures I had and copying/renaming. I'll give it a shot, but I'm not sure my skills are really there for it. LOL

It wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it would be, actually, so I've updated the mod with LOD textures. Thanks for the idea! Enjoy!

Anvil looks gorgeous now - I'm using the Mixed version and I love it! Now to try out A Better Benirus Manor next - thank you! : )

Khettienna, I like this addition to Anvil but I am having a bit of a snafu with it. The Windows on Benirus Manor are Bright red panels of color, and the chimney is belching purple semi-transparent squares. In Anvil I have three mods that affect that particular area, A Better Benirus Manor, Helping Hands, and Anvil exterior retex. If you have any suggestions that might help me make the problem negate itself I'd appreciate it.

Nevermind I missed which one I installed, I hit the all brick ALWS version. Sorry about that

Your textures look very good in-game (I'll post some screenshots when time allows). They also go nice with the Anvil basement retexture I'm using. And BAIN-friendly structure of your package is a very considerate touch. Thank you

I have given this file my endorsement.

    A much-needed face-lift for Anvil. Great work!

These textures just replace some default textures. The shot of Better Benirus Manor's interior was just to show how some interiors that use default textures would be affected. Better Benirus Manor doesn't do anything to the exterior house itself, so there is no conflict. Follow the installation instructions and you'll be just fine. =)

How exactly do you use this with your Better Benirus Manor mod? Just install BBM, then overwrite the textures?

Those are the same stone wall textures that are used in every other city, so changing them would change them for all cities unless I edited the meshes themselves and also made a plugin to swap the old walls for new ones. Then the plugin would be incompatible with pretty much any mod that makes changes to Anvil.

But if *you're* up for doing it, please feel free. =)
