Anvil Exterior Retex v2.0 by Khettienna

==================================
DESCRIPTION
==================================
This is a conservative retexture for Anvil's exterior architecture. My goal was just to get rid of the dirty white and replace it with something warmer and easier on the eyes. Nothing exciting here. ;-)

I didn't replace all textures. Most notably, the trim, doors, and roofs I left alone, as I didn't want to completely lose Anvil's style.

The new plaster/stone textures are the same size as their vanilla counterparts, and the brick textures are only twice the size (the originals were quite small), so the performance impact is trivial.

Benirus Manor's exterior has a "funny" texture arrangement, which becomes glaringly obvious with this texture pack installed, because there is more contrast in the colors. So I've included some optional replacement meshes: all brick, all plaster, or the current texture mix. All brick will be installed by default, as I feel it looks best. These meshes have already been pyffi'd. AWLS (Animated Window Lighting System) support is included for AWLS users.

The new textures somewhat affect interiors, as the interior meshes often use the brick textures, particularly around the fireplaces. This is unavoidable without editing the interior meshes.

I also traded out one floor texture for a landscape texture so the porch floors would blend better with their surroundings, and this carries into the interiors as well. If you have QTP3 or another similar texture pack, you may want to replace the textures in Textures\Architecture\Anvil\AnvilInterior with your higher-rez copy of Textures\Landscape\TerrainAnvilRoad.dds to keep them consistent.

New this version:
--Now includes matching LOD textures.
--Also added an option to have green copper roofs that match the existing green copper found throughout Anvil.
--Added a fix for Benirus Manor missing from Anvil's LOD. Leaving this optional in case it is later incorporated into the UOP.

INSTALLATION
==================================
This package contains alternate/optional files, and is structured as a BAIN-friendly archive to be installed manually or with Wrye Bash. Other mod managers such as NMM cannot install this package correctly; however, you may re-structure the package yourself for use with your manager if you do not wish to install the mod manually. The "Download With Manager" button at Nexus has been disabled to prevent installation errors.

Manual Installation:
1) Use 7zip to extract the archive you downloaded to a temporary location.
2) Copy the contents of the "Core Files (Required)" folder to your ..Oblivion\Data folder. Click "Yes" to overwrite, if prompted.
3) If you want a different Benirus Manor exterior than all brick, or if you use AWLS, then copy the contents of one of the "Benirus Manor" folders to your ..Oblivion\Data folder. Click "Yes" to overwrite, if prompted.
4) If you want green copper roof textures that match the existing green copper found throughout Anvil, copy the contents of the "Green Roofs" folder to your ..Oblivion\Data folder. Click "Yes" to overwrite, if prompted.
5) If Benirus Manor is missing from the city of Anvil when you view it from far away, copy the contents of one "Benirus Manor LOD Fix" folder to your ..Oblivion\Data folder. Choose based on whether or not you have Really Almost Everything Visible While Distant (RAEVWD) installed, and which Benirus Manor model you chose in Step 3.
6) If you did Step 5, activate the plugin in the launcher of your choice, run BOSS and rebuild your Bashed Patch if applicable, and run TES4LODGen.

COMPATIBILITY, BUGS & TROUBLESHOOTING
==================================
There are no known bugs.

This will conflict with texture replacers that also change Anvil's exterior architecture (such as QTP3). If you want these changes, install this replacer on top of QTP3 or whatever texture pack you have, and you will have a nice mix.

If the textures don't appear in-game, then you have either installed the mod incorrectly or you don't have any form of Archive Invalidation. In the latter case, please install Wrye Bash or OBMM and let it handle Archive Invalidation for you via BSA Redirection.

If your Benirus Manor windows are that special shade of Missing Texture Pink, it is because you have chosen an AWLS version of the Benirus Manor exterior, and you don't have AWLS. Either switch to a non-AWLS version, or install AWLS. I recommend the latter.

Mod Troubleshooting Guide: http://sites.google.com/site/khettienna/mod-user-guides/mod-use-troubleshooting
I wrote this guide to help you troubleshoot mod problems, because I prefer to spend my time other ways. Please respect that, and use the guide before asking for help. If the solution isn't in the guide, I'm happy to lend a hand. The fastest way to get help is to leave a comment on this mod's download page at TESNexus (linked at the top), or message me (Khettienna) privately at TESAlliance, Nexus, or the official Bethsoft Forums.
