That bug you just described is exactly what I'm experiencing so I'm looking forward to an update. The video also doesn't seem to take up much of my screen (1920x1200) so it has large black borders all around it. Not sure if that's intentional or not but it would be nice if it was a little larger. Either way I actually think this is a pretty cool idea and will definitely use it if there is a new update.
Cheers and congrats on making your first mod, ~False
Hey man may i give a advice? instead of skyrim menu theme music put the dragonborn theme metal remix i try it myself firrst i download your mod and dragonborn theme metal remix put on your intro and the downloaded song together = TOTAL EPICNESS!!!!! trust me try it yourself link to the song http://ocremix.org/remix/OCR02323/ rename the song to tes4title
I dont care if there are black borders around it, (sorry for double post) its a menu screen, does it really bother people that much?run it in a lower resolution, as far as I know Oblivion was never really meant to be run on giant display resolutions. It alot older than Skyrim. (I run mine on 1024x76
Great mod, keep up the great work! ^^ And just to clarify I'm not mad, I'm just making a very sincere and genuine point.
I have contacted the creators of a few 'Map Loop' replacer modders in hope that they can share their knowledge. I really want to fix this asap! Sorry for the wait..
Same here, experiencing the square video bug...looking forward to an update then I will surely endorse this...I can't get enough of that Fus Ro Dah and the epic music starts, it gives me shivers of pleasure.
thankyou very much, and anyone else that likes this.
Thanks for the constructive criticism but maybe 'mutilate' is a bit of an overstatement and quite frankly a tad harsh.. I said this is my first mod and i'm working on another version thats a little better..
Are you sure you placed the files correctly? If you have installed from Map Loop.bik should go in \Oblivion\data\Video\ tes4title.mp3 should go in \Oblivion\data\Music\Special\
I am aware of a little bug where the video in the background appears as a little square in the corner for about 4 seconds before coming to, i have an Idea why this is and I'll upload an update soon as I find a fix to it!
For some reason it's not working for me even though I installed the files into the folders the readme instructed. The music included in the download plays, but I get the same boring old vanilla Oblivion title intro.
