Just came by to mention that the seasonal feature of this mod uses the GetUserTime OBSE function to get the date, and this means that it changes the sunrise and sunset times based on the player system's date, not the game date. So, for example, even though my game is on the 16th of Heartfire (September) this tries to set those variables based on the current RL date (20th of July).

    Thanks for this!

Your mod plus its optional seasonal ini adds a nice touch to immersion.

I'm not really sure if it is caused by this mod, but it is very likely. I'm also not sure what this really is.
My theory: within the plains of Oblivion, the game changes to the weather outside in Tamriel (which is Oblivion weather caused by the gate outside). This means nothing during the day: within Oblivion, weather changes to Oblivion weather (from Oblivion weather... yeah, confused). But, during the night, it also becomes night in Oblivion (if you are near the gate... venturing away from the gate brings back the weather that was on, like in Tamriel). I don't know if you will get what I'm trying to explain.

Anyway, I don't consider this a bug. Night within Oblivion is a bizarre creepy thing and I love it! Adds so much to the atmosphere. Just wanted you to know and maybe see for yourself if that happens in your game.

Thanks for the report. Fixed in the new version. !
    Well, now, one issue:
I am using the latest All Natural with the lasest Immersive Interiors.
In interiors, the weather is a constant one, provided by All Natural (right now in my game it's clear weather). But every time I go exterior, FDD applies climate changes and sets the weather to a random one.

Going back to the interior brings back the All Natural weather that was on, exiting again FDD changes it to something random. Weird.

FDD loaded after All Natural and Immersive Interiors.

Ah, I see. I already reverted to the previous version, but I hope you can come up with something. <img class=">

I didn't have to think too hard, a little search on the OBSE documentation lead me to a quick, efficient solution. I only opted for that bizarre method because what I found today evaded me back then.
Please, download and give me your input.

Just managed to reinstall Oblivion after a hard drive failure, everything works perfectly so far with the updated version. Thanks!

A little annoying bug I experienced while using this with companions following me (including horse). Every time I load a savegame or change int/exterior, the mod reinitializes the climate settings (not sure if it supposes to and if this is part of the mechanism) and during that, my companions and horse usually vanish.
The horse reappear most of the time, but companions not or in some cases, after a random period of time. I have two CM Partners added companions following me and when they vanish, I use the Partner Ring to get them back, but only one appears by my side. Not sure what causes all this.

The new version makes all the changes by script. This allows full customization of the day/night lengths to whatever value you set in the configuration file. The downside of this is that all changes are lost as soon as you close the game.
When the game is restarted the mod needs to apply your changes again. This is impossible to do in real time in exteriors without refreshing the climate. ( that means setting the weather to clear, regardless of the current weather conditions. )
My solution is to temporarily transport you to an interior cell, for an instant, where I can apply the day length changes without spoiling immersion by resetting the climate, and then transport you back to where you were.
This will not happen if you load a save where you are in an interior cell.

What is intriguing is; if your partners are smart enough to follow you to the cell, why aren't they smart enough to follow you back.
I use Vilja and she has no problem wit that whatsoever.

My suggestion to you: if this is unacceptable to you, use the previous version.
If you can deal with it, wait a little longer, I'm thinking of an alternative solution that does not involve any "transportation".

Excellent mod, been using it for a while, now I see it is updated. Great! It's the beginning of Evening Star in my current gameplay and I love that it resembles the reallife day-night cycle, so I have to plan ahead. Must have for me.
