imo you only sharpened the already existing texture and you did not do pretty much anything, but still, anything is better then the rubbish oblivion textures, if I find the time I will whip up something better

Both are the worst point of Oblivion in aesthetic terms. I can not provide an image of my complain but any light -and the flame- whose source is a candle experiences a terrible pixelation. Exactly like this:
