This mod is outdated, is my guess.

It made all the NPC's walk faster, yet I was unaffected.

Literally does nothing. My character is not faster.

Is there a similar mod or a way to do this in Morrowind? I get tired to play Morrowind because my characters moves as slow as a turtle. =((

Yes, several. Just search in the Morrowind category for "speed", "walk", "run", "swim", "fast", and other obvious keywords.

sylar0712 i dont think there is one for morrowind but increasing you speed via the console works but if its too high it can get you stuck. the command is player->setspeed (to whatever number you want)

"too high can get you stuck" only applies to super-human speed, in the hundreds or higher. You can freely set your Speed in MW to 80 or 100 or whatever (I usually preferred 65 or 70, and would even use Damage Speed on myself to keep it there). The consequence is that Speed matters in combat, so boosting it is basically a cheat (and suppressing it below what you've earned is robbing yourself of buffs you deserve). There are various mods for MW that increase your walking (and/or running and/or swimming) rate without messing with your Speed stat; I ended up switching to that approach instead.

In Oblivion, the solution in-game is to simply run and jump a whole lot, and you will rapidly increase Athletics, Acrobats, and the associated attributes. Given that the most common alchemy ingredient effect (from almost all food items) is Restore Fatigue, you don't even have to worry about the effect of this on Fatigue. If you run into bandits, the first thing you do is down a RestFat and maybe a Fortify Heath potion, switch out of run mode, and draw your weapon; you can probably do all that before the enemies close on you. Soon enough, you'll have good enough stats you can run at all times except when you need to slow down on purpose. I even have a "make Fatigue regenerate slower" mod, and it's no problem.

All that said, the difference between the walk and run speeds is a bit much, and I'm glad there are some speed-increase mods for walking.

i like oblivion so muc but the walk/run speeds are driving me absolutely nuts. morrowind people complain is slow but actually your wlk speed is a pretty brisk pace and nice to walk around i always walked in morrowind. hopefully i can get this going but i think the animations are the biggest prob. i wonder if you could take an animation from morrowind and put it in oblivion

Hmm, I don't think you remember Morrowind very well. I suppose the max walking speed in that game is faster than in Oblivion, but even the MW run speed is painfully slow until you have a Speed of 50+; the walk speed until most of the way through the game is like some crippled old granny.

In the description you say running and swimming speed are unchanged but I don't think that is true, when you increase walking speed you automatically increase running speed and swimming speed as well.

so basically this makes the walking speed faster than the running speed? So almost like adding a sprint button?
