About this mod

Version 2! Glitch free, and replaces even more stock equipment with ones that glow!

Permissions and credits

Install Required OMOD, then install the OMOD related to your body type.

For females, this mod supports Vanilla, HGEC, TGND version 1 and 2, and Roberts female body. The male version, which is not shown, uses the Vanilla body exclusively.

This mod is not intended for people with a phobia of things that glow. May cause unexpected items to glow and surprise you. You've been warned.

IMPORTANT!!!!!: GOLDEN SAINT AND DARK SEDUCER ARMORS ARE NOT INCLUDED!! You can find those in a separate mod here: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=30060

---> While installing OMOD, If you run into windows telling you of conflicts and asking you if you want to overwrite the file, hold down CTRL as you press "yes" and it will say yes to all the windows at once.

--- Description ---

This mod is designed to replace many stock equipment, including armor, weapons, and some worldly objects, with new vibrant glowmaps depending on their importance or meaning. It helps to see the objects in the night, but mostly it's just to make them look pretty.

--- Location ---

All over the place. There's nothing specific about this mod, it can be found immediately by just looking around.

--- Install ---

This OMOD is designed to make it extremely easy. Believe me. It took hard work to make it this easy. *wipes sweat from head*

First, upload the required OMOD, which has all the glowmaps and some universal meshes.

Then, upload the OMOD related to your body type.

Once you've uploaded the OMODs you need, Just activate the OMODs (the required OMOD first), choose your options, it'll install, and your ready to go! Travel around and you should run into objects with new glowmaps pretty quickly. Check the list of changed objects for a summery of objects you'll wanna watch out for.

--- Uninstall ---

Click on the OMOD and press "deactivate."

In the required, if you pressed "yes" to having Kvatch rebuilt, reactivate the required mod, do not install glow maps, and say "yes" that you have installed Kvatch rebuilt glow meshes. Then deactivate the mod.

In the body mods, If you installed the glow meshes, activate the mod again, do not install Glow meshes, then just select your body type. After that, then just deactivate the mod.

Both options will install new meshes with the Emissive channel all the way down so things don't glow aimlessly without a glow map.

Why?: There's a bug that won't uninstall the new meshes because they are related to the OTHER mod. So doing this little trick will neutralize that bug.

You could also just reinstall your armor or body replacer OMOD, and that would also take care of the bug.

For the Vanilla version, all you have to do is deactivate the OMOD.

--- Incompatibility ---

Obviously, this mod conflicts with any armor or clothes replacer. D= But if you just click "overwrite," it'll overwrite the meshes without causing any issues...until you need to uninstall it. Refer to uninstalling instructions.

This mod will also conflict with any other mod that modifies equipment this mod modifies. It will overwrite any modified equipment meshes and textures...so please...know what your mods are doing. D=

--- Known Issues or Bugs ---

small bug conflict with armor replacers, Refer to uninstall instructions

--- Requires ---

OBMM: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2097

HGEC requires EVE replacer: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24078

For all the body mods, I heavily suggest you install this ontop of installing the actual body mod. Which is kind of a no brainer, but I have to only suggest it cause it's not technically "required" for this mod to work. o_o; Check the credits section of this description for body mod locations.

--- History ---

V2.00 - (03/01/2011)

- Fixed and rooted out all the major bugs that didn't allow a lot of objects to glow. I turned the mod inside and out to make sure everything works properly.

- Separated OMOD into several smaller OMODs for greater ease and potential for expansion.

- Adeed new glowing stuff - City Thrones, emperor's robes, Imperial palace cuirass, Imperial Watch Cuirass (the gold ones, not the iron ones), Gold trimmed shoes

V1.00 - (08/17/2010)
- Initial Release of stock equipment replacer OMOD version 1
