A lovely mod. So much time to use/create those beautiful textures, and get the functionality must have gone into it. Thanks. I was looking for something a bit different this time around and it seems I found it!
It doesn't show up on the map to fast travel. Even when going into the construction set and fixing it, the map marker still does not show. I've yet to find this tower even though I've installed the mod. It looks so nice, so I'll keep trying.
It's located in the Pale Pass world space which is separate from the main world space, so you will only see a map marker when your character is physically in Pale Pass.
well i just opened the esp file in CS and changed the lock value of the arcane portal from locked (lock level 100) to unlocked, then saved the change. Now i am able to use the key to BOTH lock AND UNLOCK the portal. my first time using CS so i had to self-learn a few things but only took about an hour or so to figure it all out.
i cant get into the tower using the red portal out front. every time i activate the portal it says "you lock the gateway with your tower key". I dont want to lock it, i want to go inside lol.
A few times it said "you need a key to unlock this gateway" even though i have the key. the only way i can get in is by disabling collisions and "flying" to the roof and entering through the hatch.. which is not my ideal way entering my house. It's a real shame too, this house is awesome.
@omeletted Yea but Frostcrag is as it just so happens to be near it or possibly considered on a mountain in pale pass when you think about it.
Also i got this figured out about now ... got to buy that book from Jaeger (i got confused since i never visited Frostcrag before and its how i bought the Frostcrag spire deed ... or at least i think it was him (4 NPC's there at the time) so that is basically what threw me off
Also the spells REALLY need to be renamed to something better. At some point im going to forget that wind walking is the spell to teleport to my isolated cell of a house (it looks like pale pass but its in its own isolated world) and that Dimensional door teleports me out also the readme is not very helpful either. Its got more bugfixes and history than it does instructions.
Also ... what exactly is the point of "locking" the portal?.
Lastly I suppose this would be worth an endorsement despite the lack of instruction and confusion it can cause. Also a more detailed description of everything and their use would certainly be nice. Especially since there are some things you cant figure out easily, such as why the Library bookshelves are empty (i tried "activating" them but nothing happens, even when i had tons of books in my inventory) Or perhaps the purpose of the kitchen? is it just eye candy? or can we actually use it in some way? (not including "spice storage" since apparently the alchemy sorter takes care of that for you)
