This is a better version no doubt. I have better performance with this. I think it's better configurable than Streamline's Streamsight and Streamsmooth.
My problem with Oblivion's fps is whenever I saw a Dremora (or someone with a full Daedric armor set), it started to lag like hell. The thing is, I don't even know what started this. I used to be able to kill any Dremoras no matter how many they are, but now, just by seeing one the fps just dropped to oblivion. Will this mod help me in any way at all?
PS. I apologize if this sounds kind of out of topic.
Thank you very much Zenball for your prompt reply. The oblivion ini I need to change is the one I find in Documents-Mygames-Oblivion folders? Setting new values for the two Ugrid do I also need to change values for SL Min Fog Range and SL Max Fog Range (but maybe these are modified by your mod...). Last question: Do I need to turn off also steamsmooth as u suggest (I also use Oblivion stutter remover)?
I am running Oblivion on a rather old pc. I use both streamline and oblivion stutter remover, as suggested in oblivion stutter remover readme file. After reading Combat Fps readme and the description I am confused on what to do to have these 3 mods working together. Do I just instal CombatFps or I need to change something in Oblivion ini?
Forgive me but I have very poor knowledge of these things. Thanks to anyone willing to help
What do you mean exactly by the fog settings do not work? Do you mean the default options or changes you're making to the script? As the default options are hard coded I imagine it's the latter.
The Alt-U problem is a known issue and there's not much you can do about it other than doing what you've done. By changing it back to 1 the water fog transitions will be even slower.
I'm about to upload a newer version with is compatible with weather mods and has faster water fog changes. However, you won't be able to set your own fog in that version. It's designed for All Natural - Weather, which is the weather mod you should be using if you use a weather mod anyway.

Streamsmooth.Edit: Don't use it, follow either Oblivion Comprehensive Modding Guide by Dispensation or Through the Valleys - PushTheWinButton's Vanilla Plus Modding Guide instead.

i did get a new powerful computer but this'll be nice as well.

Sorry to bother and thanks once again
uGridDistantTreeRange=10
uGridDistantCount=10
2. in your streamline ini (sl.ini found in data/streamline/ini, make sure streamsight is set to 0
3. in game press ctrl-home to get streamline options
4. Select Special Actions and select initialize with ini values.
