It's such a beautiful sword and the scripting is a great concept. I now wish there were more weapons with such abilities. D:
It may be a while before I get to playtest this, because I'm running on a very slow levelling system and it sounds like I better be prepared for a fight to get it. And I don't like to cheat for stuff like this.
Sorry about that. I've actually never played monster hunter so I wasn't aware of the connection. The sword was originally going to be for my Khajiit, and the Smilodon Fatalis was the ancient saber toothed tiger.
When I read the 'Fatalis' name on the blade, I got excited because I thought it was another Monster Hunter based weapons. Oh well, I'll download anyway.
This looks beautiful. I like the curved blade model and the tiny details that make it unique. I have downloaded both high and low damage versions for further ingame testing when posible. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work!
Well eventually I have a total of 4 new weapons to add to this one, one of which is a bow. It depends on how the scripting goes on this one as to whether I can get the rest finished the way I'm imagining.
I'll be able to give a more definite answer within a week or two... and if it works, hold on. You ain't seen anything yet.
Very nice weapon, and clever scripting! I don't believe I've seen any kind of scripting like this before in a mod. Also, I second Maigrets suggestion of bows! As a person who practices archery in real life i love getting my hands on a pretty and deadly bow
