    i think that there may be a small problem/oversight. i just tried out your mod right now, and i walk in front of a dark brotherhood member, the music pauses for a second then resumes, and i get a bounty for murder...i doubt that a dark brotherhod member would turn me into the guards.

    The mod works by spawning an invisible NPC and then killing it under the players name to simulate a bounty from killing someone. If you're wearing any kind of disguise form any other mod, or the cowl, it will add the bounty to that rather than the player.

    If the player isn't seen putting it on, there is no one to report the NPC dying, so you get no bounty. Similarly, if you're around NPCs that won't report you for murder, you won't get a bounty.

    Does the bounty stick even if the player isn't seen putting the armor on? It wouldn't really make sense if you put the armor on out in the middle of the woods with nobody around, and still get stuck with a huge bounty if someone see's you wearing it. If thats the case, it kinda ruins the effect of using a cowl to conceal your identity. I apologize if I've missed something in the description that would tell me otherwise, it's 3:30 A.M. right now so I'm a bit too lazy to do any lengthy reading.

    I have given this file my endorsement.

    This mod actually makes sense, on several levels. Surely assassins can't walk around freely - at least, not while looking like assassins?

    I do have a question though - what about NPC members of the Dark Brotherhood - say, travellers from Crowded Roads? I haven't had the chance to fully test this mod (hardly at all, actually...) so I haven't found this out. So, what I'm asking is - does this make guards/legionnaires attack DB-NPC's? Because, it'd be really cool if it did.

    Afraid not. I didn't think about then when I was scripting it.

    I may revise it soon, though

    This looks sweet! About to start a new game with an evil assassin character.

    Someone should ask about compatability with Reneer's Guard Overhaul.

    Is this compatible with Reneer's Guard Overhaul? All versions? (I use 1.98 as new revision is still buggy it seems).

    Initially I thought it would be, but then I got a look at the scripts in RGO. It's a complete mess. I'm surprised anything is compatible with it.

    This mod *will* run with it, but you will get problems with guards confronting you. They'll start attacking, then stop and try to arrest you, etc. I'm not sure what other problems it may have.

    So you menage to make it work, i've check your script in CS, this is an interesting work around...
