It worked once, with a horde actually teleporting with me as I fast traveled, but then they died in a cave and I tried getting another tribe to follow me, but they didn't. The game crashed as I was messing with one of the daedra prince boys.

I will keep experimenting with this mod to understand how it works in game hopefully. I do hope it works correctly.

I think this mod crashes my game. While travelling in the wilderness towards Chorrol, my game kept crashing constantly. I disabled my mods one by one, and this appears to be the one that was causing it.

Sad. Guess I'll just stick to making love, not war. (By murdering the shaman of each tribe, thus rendering the rest of the goblins peaceful)

the base game already does this. Im confused as to what exactly this mod changes from original, but you can still place their staffs in each others lairs and start fights

Hopefully someone will see this post. I'm not sure if there is something wrong with this mod or what, but something isn't working for me. I retrieved the Bloody Hand Goblin Head from Timberscar Hollow. I also managed to get the Rock Biter Goblin Head while I was there. Upon exiting the Timberscar cave, I was attacked by a lone Bloody Hand goblin. After killing the goblin, I made my way to the Cracked Wood cave, thinking since I had their Goblin Head, they wouldn't attack me. The first goblin I saw ran away. When I got to the cave with the shaman and a bunch of skirmishers, they all attacked me. I thought for sure after reading the description that both tribes would leave me alone. Do I need to come across the goblin war chiefs first before they realize i'm the owner of the staff? Could this be a bug? I have a feeling i'm doing something wrong. The Rock Biter war chief was killed by some bandits outside the Timberscar Cave, if that matters. Perhaps the war chief needs to respawn before any of this takes effect? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I may have found my answer.

    http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion_talk:Goblins

Many people on that page claim the war chief doesn't respawn, but someone else mentioned that after waiting for 3 days, the goblin war chief did indeed respawn, as if the goblins re-relected a new war chief. I'm going to wait 3 days and tet out that theory for myself. I want to lead a goblin army and test this mod out.

Edit: Well I rested for almost 4 days and headed back to Timberscar Hollow. I didn't notice the war chief's body slumped against the entrance where he was last seen, so I thought maybe he had respawned. I went inside and looked around. The first few goblins I came acoss didn't attack me, even after I bumped into them. I thought it might be working. I found the cave where the war chief was along with several other goblins. None of them attacked me, even after revealinng myself. I tried moving around, waiting for the war chief to follow, but he just kept roaming from one place to another within the same cave. I know the shaman of the Rock Biter clan was killed, but according to the above article, it's mainly the war chief that follows the Goblin Head and not the shaman. Why isn't he following me, and in turn, all the other goblins following him? I have no idea. I was wondering if it had something to do with OOO or MMM changing their behavior, but i'm not really sure. Can anyone tell me what could be causing the goblins not to follow?

On another note, it would be nice if the staffs were labeled so I can tell which staff from which goblin tribe I have in my possession. I can see myself losing track after a while.

It seems you have two separate versions of this mod up here - this and the "Goblin Wars" one. Which one should I use?

Oh, and speaking of the totem staffs. In the vanilla game, White Skin tribe's totem staff is Sharp Tooth's cave. I suspect it was supposed to be possible to return the staff to Goblin Jim for a reward, but this was one of the many sidequests cut from the final game. Perhaps restoring the quest could be suitable material for a mod?

    Couple of recommended edits.

    1) Allow your Shaman to respawn (call it "re-electing" a Shaman or something) after a day or two.

    2) some sort of "Wait here" command/spell, so that you don't lose any goblins whilst grabbing totems.

    3) A "wage war"/"Raid" command/spell, meaning you can tell the goblins to attempt to steal the staff of another tribe for you, and if you want to go along and help, you can, however if you just want to chill then they will try to get it for you. If they die, they die.

    4) Specialist tribes? One tribe is stronger, another is faster, another can cast basic spells etc. etc.

as a modder, I know how much of a pain it is when people just turn around and say "do this, do this", so I won't. These are just suggestions.

I've Collected 2 goblin totems (during side quest) and sold them both! I had no idea this was a feature in the game! Do the tribes EVER recover there totem(s) once sold? If not it killed the fun of mayhem for me!

Plus I too kill all shaman and would like them to respawn after 3 days or so!

So what happens if you drop the totem somewhere,. will they still come for it if it isn't in your inventory?

    Thanks for a great mod!
