darksaber2 to add your custom helms to the list open TES CS open the oblivion master file then set this mods esp active then yours after so your mod is the one the changes save to and add what ever he did to the armor to your helms (most likely a script) save your esp with your newly modified helm(s) and play them ingame.
Actually, undead/some cursed(like werevolves) are all weak to silver. Though ghosts are also kinda weak to iron, it makes them retreat when hit by it due to it being able to cut through them and temp dissolve them.
In "Blade" movie, vampire hunters use silver stakes and bullets. It's the werewolfes that are weak for silver, but in my opinion it also fits for vampires.
How did you make it possible to make npc's vampires--I'm interested, as I might like to implement this in a vampire mod I'm currently using, and which I doubt is compatible with this mod.

Silver (as crimor stated) harms most supernatural beings. The medieval Europeans must have viewed it as holy (as they did the Sun).
Werewolves have a severe weakness to silver, but all "evil" supernatural beings (with the possible exception of demons) are somewhat weak to it.
