who has stretching breasts problem, know that having a few skeleton mods and also few armor replacers is a BAD idea, even if it works for other people. I've downloaded a collection that works for others. If you did the same but have stretching issues just like me, you have to sacrifice something, in my case after a very long troubleshooting and 1 reinstallation of the collection, I was left without a lot of good armor and without boob physics, but at least now everything works without any issues
This shitty mod makes my character float in first person, making it a struggle to interact with containers, doors, npcs. The reason why I call it shitty is because after uninstalling it, the issue still persists. So thanks a ton.
When I use Coronerras's skeleton model, my character floats a bit in first person. I am also ashamed to admit that the BBB mods don't work even though the model has breast and butt parts. Will someone aid me?
Manually download the file Skeletons from the Files tab to a folder, and then extract it to that same folder with 7-Zip (select the 32 bit or 64 bit version depending on your Windows version from the top of that page).
You will now see a folder named Data in your extracted download folder ... right click on that Data folder and select Copy from the right click menu. Next navigate to your game's install folders and right click on the game's Oblivion folder and select Paste from the right click menu. You will get a prompt about there is already a folder named Data ... select to merge the contents of the two Data folders.
You will need to do something called archive invalidation for the game to use the new skeleton.nifs ... the simplest way is via a mod manager.
If you use the Steam version of the game I suggest Oblivion Mod Manager (OBMM) for at least the archive invalidation part as it has a handy and simple way to fix a problem that is common in Steam installations of the game.
In OBMM click on the Utilities button and select Archive Invalidation. In the next menu select BSA Redirection (probably already selected) and click on Reset BSA Timestamps (corrects the common Steam problem) and then click on Update Now and close OBMM. That's it, BSA Redirection is a do once and forget about it solution.
Man the Nine Divines forever hold you in their grace, my wonderful person! I was struggling with a stupid situation so bad, thank you very much for this.
Whatever you do, don't forget to use Archive Invalidation from OBMM ( EVEN IF YOU USE MO2 ) otherwise there is a chance for that stupid infinite stretch crap to persist.
I installed it with MO2 and I still get the chest stretching issue. Maybe if I do it manually? Where, exactly, do I put the folder? In data? Or the base oblivion directory?
Having horrible breast stretching to infinity problem. From what I've gathered, it's due to a skeleton not being installed, being overwritten or just not working properly. I've made sure I've re-dated my .BSA archives, have archive invalidation, even tried manually installing, but nothing seems to work. Does OCO v2 maybe have a skeleton in it's files?
I only have this problem with 2 mods right now. Vanilla armor redux (previously known as mass outfit redesign) and the nude patch for OCO v2 seamless.
Maybe you have find the solution but this can help others. After instaling all the mods (i use obmm), i made a Coronerras Maximum Compatibility Skeletons instead drop the files direct on oblivion folder and install this for the last, aparently some mod (that i dont know who is) was overwriting the skeleton.
Oblivion Character Overhaul v2 does not have a skelton.nif included in it's download. You can run into some body replacers that are culprits in that regard though.
Just checked my downloads for Seamless - OCOv2 and Vanilla Gear Redux and neither includes a skeleton.nif in any of their offered variations (both do require a BBBed skelton.nif though, which is at the root of your boob problem).
As Henito has suggested, manually install this mod again and you should be good to go.
Download this manually to a folder and then extract it to that same folder. You will see a folder named Data in the extracted download ... right mouse click on it and select Copy from the right click menu.. Next navigate to your game install and find the Oblivion folder. Right click on Oblivion and select Paste. You will get a warning about there is already a folder named Data ... select to merge the contents of the two Data folders.
I'm having exactly the same problem. I've tried Universal Skeleton as well with Vanilla Gear Redux and still getting this issue so I don't think it's this replacer specifically. I have this last in my load order so nothing *should* be overwriting it.
------------
Ok, it's an issue with Archive Invalidation and Vortext. Manually setting the orignal Oblivion BSA dates to something very early (I used 1/3/2002) fixed the issue
I had this problem only on Khajits. Just wanted to write down my solution in case someone comes across the same error in the future. Apparently "The Lands of Solstheim, Vvardenfell and Mournhold" overwrites the khajit skeleton and therefor causes this problem. Simply placing your skeleton and "Vanilla Gear Redux" in your load order so that they are loaded after ToSVM should fix it.
no solution here helps or is described poorly. to put manually data into the program folder makes a mess and makes mod managers obsolete so it makes no sense for me

PD: Install it manually.

Edit: SKYBSA solved my problem
