Hey, so I have a problem. I'm not sure if it's MOO or Creature Diversity, but I think it's either one of them. So there's been these newer and different "Will-o-the-wisp" type mobs, that spawn randomly, little wisp things. I can fight fine other mobs and NPC's fine, but when I hit these "wisp" mobs, just once, game instantly crashes. What do I do?

There are no wisps in this mod.

I had the same issue.  No clue what mod it was, I run a lot of mods.  Ended up blowing everything away and doing a clean install of Oblivion to fix it.

The new wisps are added by MOO and it was a problem with Supreme Magicka Update which has been resolved several updates ago.

Enemies seem to over spawn with this mod enabled and often times its 3-5 ghouls all of which can spam paralyze.
Some of the creatures are absurdly tanky and do insane amounts of damage even at level 1 normal difficulty, anything over is unplayable because the enemies start regening health faster than you can do damage especially with trolls.

    Some of the sponge enemies:
    Undead Knight
    Durzog
Ghoul (Worst enemy in the mod, Uninstall worthy)
    Skeleton hero's and Guardians

I'm getting messages in message logger that is telling me that some creatures dont have get up animations. I noticed that a goblin skirmisher I was fighting did not have an animation for getting up and instantly stood instead. is this normal?

I suppose that it will be difficult to find an answer. But I have checked the esp and most creature entries have the respawn flag enabled. That flag is not used in Oblivion in any creature apart from 4 horses and 2 sheeps:
'Bay Horse' [HorseBay] | Respawn Flag: True
'Black Horse' [HorseBlack] | Respawn Flag: True
'White Horse' [HorseWhite] | Respawn Flag: True
'Paint Horse' [HorsePaint] | Respawn Flag: True
'Sheep' [UurasSheep] | Respawn Flag: True
'Ushnar's Dog' [SEUshnarDog] | Respawn Flag: True

Was this an intended implementation? For what I understand, placing a creature with the respawn flag enabled is not recommended Referece . But since this mods only used leveled list there maybe be no harm in it. In any case I have removed that flag to be on the safe side.

Apart from that the female variants of the Lich do not have the min level at the vanilla value.

Hi! Is there any point of using this mod with MOO, and if it's so, is it safe?

I just want to let you know this is the best monster and creature mod to use with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul in my opinion. That and with BtMoreEnemies it's just *French Kiss*

The spiders are so awesome and I'm terrified of them the way they creepily crawl to you. Something about it is just terrifying!

I'm going to get this just so I can flip the f out whenever I go into the water and there is a huge whale waiting for me.

How can I know the ID of the new enemies to try to see them with the console commands?

Load Creature Diversity.esp in TES4Edit and click on the Creature records.

I don't like waiting around to see new monsters, so I use the CS to add the creatures from all mods I use to the Wabba Summon leveled list. I chose that spell since it works fine for this purpose. I also enabled "PC start spell" on it so that I automatically have it when I start a new game, but you could also give it to yourself anytime via the console. So by casting that spell, any one of literally hundreds of creatures will randomly be summoned to fight for me. Since I took the time to add them to the list, it can be any of the ones from MMM, OOO, WAC, XVC, AL_Monsters, Midas Magic, Creature Diversity, More Monsters, RRR, Summoner's Workshop, etc. I have so many in the Wabba list that it's literally a different creature almost every time. More than 1 can be conjured simultaneously if you use a multi-summon mod or the Wrye Bash tweak, meaning the 1st one doesn't disappear when a new one is summoned.

I recommend using FormID Finder if you want to see which creatures come from which mod in-game: left click + alt gives you the info on it.

All these people asking, "Is it compatible with...?" Of course, all it does is add monsters to leveled lists. Use Wrye Bash and it will merge all leveled lists together.
