Is it possible to make companions from companion mods also use the Chameleon Cloak while you have it on? I'm using the Neeshka companion. I have a good idea where to add it in her script, but I don't know the commands at all.
I figured out it's happening only while my MP is lower than 30 and has nothing to do with which spell I cast. I have OBSE v0018 beta 4, is there a newer one that I can't find?
When I tried this out and went to heal myself, some white colored effect spammed like crazy and dropped me down below 1 fps. Since I can't recompile or save the script after editing what I think is wrong (it gives tons of errors about messageboxex and something else), I had to set like everything in the "aaAddCloakEffect" effectshader to 0 to stop it from spamming like that. I'm assuming there's a bug in the script mixed with the fQuestDelayTime at 0.01 = SPAM LAG.
Bug #2: Sometimes it doesn't toggle properly when you press the key; it makes the light effect, but you don't end up in chameleon mode and vice versa. I think it happens both in 1st and 3rd person.
Bug #3: Casting a spell and toggling Chameleon Cloak before the spell casts results in no magicka used. I figured this one out after I turned the effectshaders to 0 and trying all possible things to see if it would still do the spam thing or whether I fixed it.
I love the idea of this mod and especially because of the "nerfs" it gives while using it so you're not overpowered.
I was also thinking of a new feature: maybe have it like the ninja in Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions; when you stealth with him, he loses health over time during the stealth. everything you described means one thing... outdated OBSE version.

the chameleon is applied but effect showed only after to switch to 1st person and back.
I made an update that should fix that.
