I fixed the issue with the apple press not working, if anyone wants the fixed esp please PM me. I haven't been able to get in touch with the author for permission to upload it.
@miguick The behaviour you describe about the player character being '2x' drunk after just one, after a first drink cleared up was around in the original versions of the mod. As you suggest, the drunkenness level is not cleared (maybe for a good reason) at the ScriptEffectFinish block.

I didn't realised that changing the EditorID's is a bad idea as long as Form ID stays the same. Thanks A LOT for the info. It has been changed back to the original names. Sorry to everyone for the trouble. Regarding the inebration effect, I cant help Im afraid. I havent touched the scripts at all, and to be honest I hardly know anything about scripting.
Ok, I've poked into the mod, and I don't see the aforementioned problem. I was because old versions of OOO completely scripted the "fortify stuff" you got from the drinks. This version only adds a little script effect to drinks just to make your vision drunk-like. However, its also changing the EditorID's of the drinks for no apparent reason. This is a very bad idea, and I would suggest you to revert them to the original ID's or else odd things could happen in game. Also, for some reason the drunk effect is not well cleared after the script effect finishes, and instead seems to stack. Example, if I drink an ale I get a little blurry vision. If I drink two at the same time, or before the script effect from the first ends, it becomes worse. But if I wait until the script from the first ale expires, then drink the second, I guess I should get just a little blurry vision like if I had drank one, but instead I get as "drunk" as if I had just had two. I don't know if it supposed to be like that. Not much of an issue anyways, I've always wanted to have this feature isolated out of OOO! Thank you!
No it's not updated with OOO fixes This mod is based on Lap's Inebriation and I dont think PersianPaladin has made any changes to Lap's scripts. Im not aware of any bugs in the original mod, though. I dont use OOO so I dont know what the fixes are but I will definitely look into it. Thanks for letting me know. I also like the idea of adding inebriation effect to Cobl, maybe with a menu, allowing to toggle the effect on and off, if you fell like having some alcohol-free booze :-)
Good idea to give this functionality to Cobl. However, is it updated with the latest OOO fixes? I remember an odd bug in old versions which drained your stats permanently.
