    So, when I talk to The Magnificent's captain and choose "Sail to Stirk" it just goes to a loading screen and when it comes back I'm still standing on the boat in Anvil. Did anyone else encounter this?

      Make sure that the ESM file loads directly after the Oblivion.ESM file, AND that you also disabled borders by having bBorderRegionsEnabled set to 0 in the Oblivion.INI mostly found inside Documents/games/Oblivion. NOT the INI in the oblivion main folder.

      Well, this might as well be a century later, but I'm "rediscovering" Oblivion, and installed this mod- new game, new installation under the Steam version, and I'm having this same issue. Pay my 50-gold just to end up back on the Anvil docks. Load order and ini files configured as prescribed. If anyone has found a cure for this, I'd like to know.

    I am not able to get this mod to work in conjuction With (among other) Elsweyr Anequina, Better Cities, Tamriel Heightmaps, TWMP Summerset landscapes, Sutch Reborn and Fort Akatosh at all. Doesn't matter where I put it in the load order - when fast-travelling to Stirk, I end up way underwater in deep water, and if hacking With the console to get invulnerable, all I see when finally surfacing is a ship and a chapel and lots of People floating in mid-air. I've reinstalled twice, no go... Is this mod simply not compatible? If so maybe a warning should be posted in the description?

      Make a clean save without Stirk, then install Stirk and Compatibility patch by Vorians from here: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/29905//?

      TR Team might consider to stick this comment.

      I have exactly the same problem, and removing Hammerfell doesn't work.

    How sad, even with the compatibility patch, this mod conflicts with 1 of my other mods. I have quite a bit of mods, so its not really worth... investigating. The only mod that seems to infect stirk, logically speaking, would be the Hammerfell The Eastern.... that one. I tried removing it and stirk still infected my game, force teleporting me to that hotel in imperial city, with no means of leaving imperial city. A sign that some mod doesn't like stirk. ;( ;( I also added sutch. but.. still.. removing that with hammerfell still keeps the problem.

    Those mods still might be affecting stirk, perhaps due to assets aside from the esp affecting stirk.

    Well I'd say try out the mod, and if no problems occur.. congrats! This mod conflicts with.. unknown mods... in some mystical order. Try it out, if Stirk dislikes your mod setup, oh well, you tried

      I've also removed Hammerfell, but my Stirk remains barren and intangible, trying to get there teleports my character deep underwater.

      There is a new, TWMP version of Hammerfell that includes its own version of Stirk. I'm probably gonna remove this Stirk and get the TWMP one in the future.

    This and the compatibility patch contains dirty edits.

    TR_Stirk.esp - Contains dirty edits: 11 ITM, 1 UDR records.
    Stirk_Compatibility_Patch.esp - Contains dirty edits: 0 ITM, 12 UDR records.

    Should they be cleaned or are they necessary for the mod to function?

    I noticed the quest 'Errands for the Brothers' is not starting at all for me. I did manually start it with console by setting TR07q006Errands to 5 and then adding the topic xx005bea to Amarius Eulius. Hopefully, the quest will work out from here.

      Messagelogger seems to spam this line:

      The next quest didn't start automatically either. I am probably going to be forced to use the console to get through the quests.

    When I kill the four Zombies in the mysterious ruin the orc guard tells me to meet him at the bonfire, but he remains in the ruins forever, to the point where he regards me as if it were his home and I were just intruding.
     
    EDIT: Happens constantly in the mod, fixable by disabling and then enabling the NPCs.

      A simpler way to get them to move on to the next AI package is to click on them in the console and then enter the command:

      evp


      which triggers them to EValuate Package

      Note that using a moveto command on an NPC also casues the tp evaluate package.

    If anyone's interested, a patch has been made to make Stirk (and many other fine mods) compatible with MOBS - Medieval Oblivion Equipment Balance System, which rebalances weapons in Oblivion.

    I just finished the main quest of this mod and I must say it was very uniquely designed and well done. There were few minor glitches along the way but it did not stop me from finishing the quest. Wish it was a bit more polished but you cannot have everything especially for free. Endorsed (Should have played this mod long time ago.)

    There any solution to that water problem? It's occurred ever since I got the Tamriel esp for the big ol' world expansion.
