It's actually working on Win7. Need to run it in compatibility mode for WinXP SP2, as administrator. Besides, make sure you got a .jpg in every Sky/Texture folder, maybe even Moon folders and that's it. Also, when you run it you can run in background and make sure to disable all features (save game, music etc. in this program - uncheck it and run a selection once). Maybe something could be made so that this doesn't run as an .exe in the background... Also, the sky cycles only every game session/start for me (on Win7).

This is great! I love it. One question though, it's creating corrupted saves. I just checked and even though I had quick save turned off there was some stuff underneath that talked about saving and I switched to none. Just curious if anyone else was experiencing corrupted saves from this mod.

I seem to be having the same problem. I copied and pasted the folder a few times. I know there's a "Sky" folder inside my Textures folder, but I'm still getting the missing folder error. I'm also using Windows 7, so this may not even work now that I look back at the comments. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thank You for developing this mod for Oblivion .... Of the 40+ mods we have running, my wife and I really enjoy this one a lot ... The skys are amazing, and the control over the cycles work great!

I'm wondering if we can build a cosmic skycycling for Skyrim. Perhaps something similar. It depends, I haven't been outside at night yet.

I've got Windows 7 now, too. So maybe I could rewrite this, put a message in to address the -1 array issue with instructions on how to fix your files.
If only I could get paid to develop for the games I love from home. That would be awesome.

Well, I've figured out the Line -1 non-Array bug, it's that the program scans for JPG/JPEG's of EVERY FOLDER in Textures/Sky, Textures/Moon/Masser, and Textures/Moon/Secunda to pull up icons for you to select from, so, the missing Array would be an icon for a texture in a folder, or in my case, I just matched the texture icon in the program and then saw the folder that was missing a JPG/JPEG icon after the matching folder.

Albeit it makes things tedious putting up every JPG to match every texture for the skies, it's necessary for this program to work correctly, assuming you have everything set up, so no, it's not the INI, it's your custom sky and moon textures that are missing Icons.

Now you can enjoy your Sky Cycling adventures, as long as you have the icons for the program to scan from, regardless if it's off or not.

Endorsing for a lovely program, even if it is tedious.

I think you'll need to get the default sky files back in place. there may be a backup file, but I haven't looked in a long time. Unfortunately I had to rebuild my computers and don't have Oblivion installed atm. The best way i can think of to turn it off with no problems would have been to uncheck all the nebulas in the skyselect screen. Then the default should be reloaded. Once that is down, you can just not run the exe an could delete files as long as you don't delete the originals that came with Oblivion.

There are Backup Files for the defaults in my sky folder, which is basically backing up all the moon textures. Sky textures, I'm not so sure about, it seems to replace the skynebula01's at least, and in my Custom Texture Sheets, actually replaces skystars, 01, 02, skynebula01, and 02. I haven't seen a backup file for those either, as it swaps out textures in-game and the program fades them in.

Sorry Guys, i don't know when I'll be able to support this under Windows 7.... I have not purchased it yet. Not sure when I can get back to maintaining this properly, either, but hopefully someday.

Hi, first let me say good job on the mod. I want to disable it for now, I tried to delete all the relevant files (the .exe and all the texture files) but somehow I am still seeing the cosmic pictures. Can you help me on that?

I endorse this mod, though I downloaded it ages ago so I can't make it formal Regardless, this is a fantastic resource for anyone with a decent GPU.

You will occasionally see a sky rising in one direction and setting in the other, but that is a non-issue. I have spent literally hours just walking around town gazing at stars.
