The scrolls don't stack because an entirely new item with a unique ID is created with each scroll. This is needed in order to preserve the item in a savefile.

It's an idea to allow you to choose the number of scrolls you make, so those all have the same ID. I am not actively working on this mod though at the moment, because it does what I need perfectly.

Concerning the usage of scrolls by NPC's:
This is entirely a matter of AI. This mod doesn't touch AI at all. Most companion mods allow you to choose a combat tye AI for each NPC though, so if it allows you to order a companion to use magic in combat, then it is very likely they will use the spells you give them.

Best way to find out is to test yourself what works and what not.

I'm sure I'll try it, but I have a question. If I give this to a companion (trough CM Partners or Companion Share and Recruit) will they surly use the scroll, or its totally up to the NPC if they want to use it or no. I only ask this because I don't want to make scrolls, give them to the companion, and they will never use it. Oh, and one more thing. Can I create scrolls from spells from other mod? Like Midas Magic.

Interesting and useful, but I have one gripe with it: the scrolls you create don't stack, even if they are exactly the same. The result is considerable inventory clutter if you make more than a handful.

Yes I tried it now. It works perfectly, also when I give the scrolls to NPC's. The scrolls are saved in the save game as well because I use the CloneForm function on an empty scroll object, so every new scroll has it's own FormID.

What you've done looks interesting and useful. Have you tried it yet?
