I would suggest getting Blender even if you do not intend on using it as a primary 3D editor. It is great for converting file formats as well as importing your final pieces to refine collision on them.
Oh, the files I uploaded contain the link to the original download location which is: http://www.sharecg.com/v/27227/3d-model/The-Prince-William
I could also convert it to an OBJ but it will not export to NIF because there are too many verts. The attached archive is 7.7 MB and the .blend file is 41 MB once extracted. An OBJ export is about 21 MB.
Send me a PM if you need to get hold of me.

Thanks man, I guess I should use blender sense it's free (1 more software to learn).

I think you've seen these postings and if you are interested, you could use those as a base model and create some game-ready versions and maybe even use the high-res versions for the normal map. <img class=">

The Prince William is the closest to what I was thinking about.
I don't have blender so I don't think I can use these but I could use the original .3ds files.

Cool, Could use some more detail but I like it.

Thanks, I'm not expecting to get a 10 on this but I think there is a higher degree of detail in the base model.
I actually used 6 different 3D models to make just the hull.
If you look close enough you might be able to tell the different loft & sweep angles.
I think the regular Oblivion ships only have 3. They are of course fully textured as mine is not (yet) and looks better because they are finished.

Thanks for looking out for me LHammonds', I made the color screen shots after I imported the AtoCAD models into Inventor (looks prettier).
May not seem like much & probably isn't but I just got my feet wet in the Oblivion modding pool.
