I haven't messed with the Oblivion Mines yet. They use a different method to deal damage to the player than physics traps, the script fires a spell at the player based on their level, I plan on fixing this in the near future.
Depending on the skeleton's stats it may or may not kill them in one hit, but unless the PC has very low health for his/her level, I wouldn't expect it to take more than two hits from a spike trap to kill one. (I need to do more testing to be sure)
Ah this is a very good idea. This bothered me too. But what bothered me even more, was when I spent so much time and effort luring the skeletons into the spike trap, but even after 4 hits they aren't even close to dying. So with this mod will that be changed? If it just kills them instantly I'll still be OK with that.
