I pretty much read every tutorial and watch every video that I can find about blender. I have to say that this video is the best that I've seen. In the few minuets that it took me to watch this I've learned the use of several features in blender. This video is a better quality and more informative than the videos on the blender site. Please make more video tutorials.
As far as suggestions go, it would be nice if there were a set of video tutorials that carried through from the beginning to the end of a complex model. As someone who has spent months learning what little I know of blender, I could use all the information I can get
I will watch this in a few days. I no longer have Oblivion, but I plan to get it once again in a few weeks. I bought a new copy of Morrowind yesterday, and I saw this while searching for mods, so I'm snatching it, anyway. I'm not sure if I'll ever use this tutorial, but I will definitely watch it. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent tutorial vid LHammonds! The video is clear, the audio is crisp, and the background music adds a nice touch. Best of all, you present it at a nice pace and it's easily understandable. Well done.
Ok fellas, I know the process works and all but I would like some critics on the actual presentation. If something rubs you wrong or you think it could be better by doing abc or xyz, please let me know so I can take it into consideration for my next video tutorial.
I used 1024 x 768 since I think most computers now run in at least that resolution and I wanted the text to be as clear as possible but I still spelled out everything I was doing just in case people relied solely on the low-res YouTube video (yuck).
Also, if you'd like to put in suggestions for my next videos, you can do that as well. I plan to take some of my text-based tutorials and make videos out of them but mainly the ones that rely heavily on graphics.
I "almost" used the closed caption feature to add a text-based transcription so it would comply with Section 508 Accessibility Standards but I didn't really see the point. If there is ANYONE out there that would actually utilize the CC for these tutorials, let me know now or forever hold your peace. hehehe.
I cannot utilize the Picture-In-Picture because I do not own a webcam but I also don't really see the point...these tutorials are not about showing my mug but showing the tools.
Awesome...just dl-ed it. Will try it tomorrow as I had some problems with exporting the damn armor collisions ">...everytime they fell through the floor.
