Try a mod called "Really Immersive Messages". It's not completely perfect, but it's close. Makes most all messages more immersive, and removes the most annoying ones without introducing a glitch. You can use TES4Edit to correct the two or three small mistakes with spelling or wrong message for a task ( 'recharge' instead of 'repair' ). That mod is what this mod tried to be, and more. No offence meant to MackeMan.
If I remember correctly: You see an "a" because MackeMan deleted the "loading area" text. Oblivion expect something and put an "a" You need to replace the blank by a " " (space)

There is a file "No More I Found messages" that removes those and is more recent.
I can only say one thing: thank you! This messages were ruining the game for me.
