    Should this be installed before or after the Darnified Dark UI addon?

    Edit: In fact, ignore this comment.

    DarN and Trollf = MISMATCHED each other around patches!!!
    Darn added a patch for Trollf (added a <!-- disables... code)
    Trollf's patch = REVERSES that code back to DarN defaults
    Trollf's ALL OTHER mods still have that code though...
    So WHY then DarN made a patch for Trollf??? while Trollf has that by DEFAULT???
    And why Trollf made a patch - that reverses his own mods back to Darn defaults???
    Its all about THIS code inside a loading_menu.xml
    =======================
    <!-- disables 'Loading...' text, edited by trollf
    <text name="load_loading">
    <depth> 4 </depth>
    <string> <copy src="strings()" trait="_loading"/> </string>
    <font> 1 </font>
    <red> 117 </red>
    <green> 59 </green>
    <blue> 33  </blue>
    <alpha> 255 </alpha>
    <wrapwidth> 480 </wrapwidth>
    <justify> ¢er; </justify>
    <x>
    <copy src="parent()" trait="width"/>
    <div> 2 </div>
    </x>
    <y> 35 </y>
    </text>
    -->
    ========================
    So GUYS... you did a nice FOOTBALL = so WHICH patch is CORRECT???
    I mention: Darn made a special patch for Trollf
    and Trollf made a special patch for DarN
    and they BOTH mismatch each other by that code inside.
    and they BOTH "restore" opponent defaults.
    P.S. DarN patch for Trollf is in: DarkUId DarN 16 Manual Version-11280\Optional Menus\Alternate Loading Screen xml's\Trollf's Themed Replacer - DarkUI Version
    and Trollf patch for Darn is as a separate file

    Love these! Been using them for years.

    I just wish there were 1920x1080 versions available.

    @Edelnar: I'm not sure if I understand correctly. Which version that you would like to be available are you referring to? Is it 2.x (the one with the dark frames) or 1.x (the one with the bright frames)? Both of them are available for download.

    The old archives containing the loading screens with the bright frames found in the old versions (1.x) can be downloaded from the "Old Versions" section (at the bottom) just in case someone likes them more.

    I find 2.0 version much more prettier and suitable, as it comes with borders in a same color and brightness as loading screen text. Would be nice, if that version still would be available as a separate download or optional package.

    My thanks to Khalim and Trolf. Just downloaded and installed with no problems. These look way better than the crap vanilla loading screens. They improved the atmosphere of my game and that earns my endorsement.

    Do you use any other mods? It may happen that some of them change text descriptions on some of the vanilla loading screens (notably OOO, Race Balancing Project, etc.) and if they're loaded after this mod, the background texture will revert to default.

    As stated in the readme, you can rectify this problem relatively easy using Wrye Bash - just rebuild the patch and tick LoadingScreens.esp in the Import Graphics section (and don't forget to tick Import Graphics as well) - but first make sure the .esp file is tagged with Graphics. The NoMerge tag is obsolete, since Bash can handle the mergeability of mods with the Mark Mergeable function.

    This issue should not occur if you don't play with any other mods, however. Make sure you unpacked the whole archive to the proper location.

    I've done exactly as you said but I'm still seeing vanilla loading screens. The strange thing is that I see them only during the initalization screen. After the Oblivion logo, I always see a vanilla loading screen (rarely it is followed by another vanilla screen) but ater that, all other loading screens are new ones from LSTR.

    I really like this mod, wouldn´t go with another loading screens mod. There is one thing however that annoys me and it doesn´t seem to affect other players. Once in a while I get one of the original (vanilla) loading screens, and it hurts my eyes when I´m playing at night. Any ideas how to fix it?
    Thanks to Khalim and initially Trollf for the great work.

    On a side note, I've been thinking about redoing the textures, replacing the vanilla borders with their DarkUI equivalents to make them blend better with the rest of the UI and also I've been meaning to release a DevKit so that the DarkUI conversion can be made much easier (e.g. it'd then be fairly quick and simple to convert the 500+ screens from Natural Selection). I may get around to it someday, possibly sometime during the summer.
