Great underrated mod. But oy have to download the version from anibay website. Then clean it in Tes4Edit, remove some dirty edits and it works perfectly.
I had problem with purple like untextured sippling mass too. All I did was downloading this mod from another site. From a russian one. And problem was solved. Here's the link. http://anvilbay.net/zagruzki/download/104-vizualnye-effekty/1227-wayshrines-improved.html
not working for me, i get purple blocks meaning the textures are out yet i have a texture map so something must be missing inside the map or the esp has been set wrong to load other textures, btw, mirror is down
The missing texture problem (Pink particle effect) is due to bad texture pathing in the .nif files. The problem will occur for those who don't have oblivion installed in the "c:program filesbethesda softworks" location (like me). To fix you'll need NifSkope to view the .nif files, scroll down to the obvious path reference, double click it and remove "c:program filesbethesda softworksobliviondata" portion of the path, then "Save As" replacing the existing file. This needs to be done for all 9 nif files.
Personally after trying it I thought it was a bit to loud and bright and when the particle effect disappears as you move away it sort of breaks the immersion. A more subtle particle effect might've worked better.

I will endorse it later... TESNExus don't let me do it right now, don't know why...
Just one little thing:
The Unofficial Oblivion Patch makes a fix to the SPELL - SPIT section of all the Wayshrines.
This mod overwrites that fix, so it will be good that these fixes were included in this mod.
I already did that with TES4Edit, not so difficult. And everything is OK.
If someone wants the file just PM to me.
Regards!
