The only shields not working in the entire pack are Lord Kain's and the Shield of the Thorn, and it's annoying the hell of me. What needs to be done to fix it?
I recently upgraded to the version Addon SOB 3.4.1 mod# 20572 which eliminates this mod's .esp file and replaces it with an .esm file which supposedly "automatically" switches shields hand to back (no spell). While it works fine for the player/character, it does not work for the npc's carrying of shields. Just like with this mod, they are permanently stuck to their backs and don't switch to their arms even in combat. All these S.O.B mods all seem to be buggy and don't work as they should. Does anyone have an answer to the issue of the npc's?
I have encountered issues as well except the oppostive of yourself - NPC's have shields on their back and correctly equip them during combat but the same cannot be said for my own character.
How can I apply this mod to other mod? Is there a tutorial? Let's say I have Link from Legend of Zelda as my companion, and I want him to put sword and shield on his back.
Works like a charm. I have just got back into Oblivion on a new computer build and this just went into my load order. So glad it works. Love having a shield on my back and toggle spell is great. Thanks.
