I think more modders will make boots now as I explained at CI's forum that it is very easy as it is a cut and paste more or less as I use parts of the dresses that the shoes and boots are specially made for.
There are a PSD and XCF included too at texturesclothespekpekbabitems, which will make it easier for you to make your own shoes if you want too. Just copy them to your own texture folder.

I think it would be easy for you to use the mesh too for your body project if you like too.
