Amazing mod ! My favorite landscape probably, also the more performance killer, i'm really curious there i a chance to have the permission to make a performance patch that make this 60 FPS stable ?
You may make a patch and release if you wish, no modder has the right to refuse that or to demand people seek permission first to create a patch. Just understand that in the event that the patched mod does receive any update which breaks your patch, it would be your responsibility to fix the patch, and there is zero responsibility on the author of the patched mod to maintain compatibility with your patch.
you are right and i know that !.. i like this mod so much and living it whit enb and retexture at 60 FPS on gameplay session whit manyoverhauls could be a great experience, the real problem is that oblivion have serious troubles when you are using too much mesh, the engine ins't totally able to control that..
I know this is not a recent mod, and that it is only one component of "Unique Landscapes" (all of which are phenomenal). But I wanted to say "thanks" anyway for Ancient Yews (gratitude can be retroactive, right?). The area with the waterfall, ponds and those gorgeous and well-done yew trees is one of the first areas I visit on each new game. I have had no problems with the mod, and it is very cool that the Unique Landscapes team has done so much work to ensure that compatibility patches are created so that no conflicts arise. Very well done. Thank you for improving my game, and giving me a wonderful and peaceful place to escape when reality becomes too real. :)
This looks amazing, but I read in the description that TES4LODGen is required. When I read the details on that it said HDR MUST be enabled or distant objects will flash to black. I prefer not to run HDR in Oblivion. It looks washed out no matter how much tweaking I attempt. So, is everyone who runs the UL mods also using HDR?
Only things listed under "Prerequisites" are required, and TES4LODGen is not there. It is an optional additional step you can run after installing the mod to make distant objects match the near objects in your personal setup, but you don't have to use it at all.
This is fantastic. I installed it a while back, but finally traveled through it. Very dynamic landscape with water falls, a creek cutting through rocks, old stone paths, a wonderful grove. I had a great time exploring the area.
I'm afraid there's a bug in the waterfall NIFs: they are visible even in the heavy fog, and they should not of course. Here is a pic that shows where's the problem: PIC
Makes the land look much better, good job. But I do have a bit of a problem. There are now huge yellow diamonds with exclamation marks along and in the river at various points. I made this mod load last with OBMM, but these odd shapes still show up. They are not there when I turn the mod off. Any suggestions? Thanks.
I could play with the big yellow diamonds, and just ignore them, but it would be nice to figure out how to display what is supposed to be there.
