For anyone else missing this mod, the STEP project includes a lua for No Atmosphere No Dust in their build docs. Step No Man's Sky - NMS - Guide, look for the StepNMS_NoAtmosphereNoDust.lua file.
I haven't had a chance to test it out in game yet, but if run through AMUMSS is likely to work as the base files this mod alters have not seemed to chance since last year.
Again, be aware I'm not affiliated with the mod author, and am a beginner to NMS modding so any problems from these .lua scripts are entirely on me! (Don't complain to the mod author for any issues that arises from using these .luas)
And if the mod author returns, please let me know if I should take this link down.
Hi, I'm not the mod author, but am also a big fan of this mod, so I've reverse-engineered some .lua scripts based on this mod.

Hoping for a mod update as well, I found a great planet for my base, but the fog is very thick & the planet would look awesome if it were not for the fog.

For the No Atomosphere No Fog lua, I found one that seems to work No Atmosphere No Fog.lua.
Both compiled with AMUMSS without issue using the current public Interceptor 4.22 compiler.
Best of luck.

At least as of NMS 3.81 I've been able to use these .luas to make working mods which seem to function properly in game. They're available as part of a larger repository of NMS modding .luas here:
https://github.com/MetaIdea/nms-amumss-lua-mod-script-collection/tree/main/other-authors
The files are
no atmo no dust.lua
and
no atmo no fog.lua
Near the bottom of the list
It looks like the links got changed, both .lua files should show up at the bottom of this page currently.
