Why no lua for the version without nebulas?

I'm unsure but probably a miss.
I added it to 2.1 Black Space download.

      Thank you for the NoStars.lua!

It's a bit jarring since it doesn't give a sense of dimension of space, but it's better than too bright stars.

I hope there will be a reduced stars mod like it was in the early days.

It was possible in the early days via shader mods, but shaders can barely be edited anymore.

For colored lines, you can use my No Ship Speed Effects mod.

Hello, Your mod is amazing! I love it! This is the way I'm playing No Mans Sky from now on. I just wanted to know if there is a way I could disable all the stars. So I could have a completely black space.

It was a good idea, waiting for a way to reduce the amount of stars. I just added an optional No Stars mod.

Returning back to NMS after a few years of hiatus. I've always wondered. What are "LUA" mods exactly? Example of one? I've always ignored those files when installing your mods because every mod I've ever used on this website is a pak file.

      Welcome back.
.lua are scripts able to recreate the same mod using AMUMSS. The advantage of these is they can somewhat merge mods as using .lua script for each mod, all the changes from the different scripts are merged in a final pak file and this mostly preserve from .pak conflicts.

Damn good mod and I love how your other mods go with this perfectly. I'll never go back to the vanilla space colors. Even with my glasses, they are bright and hurt my eyes,

Same here. I've been using this mod for almost 2 years now and I won't go back as well. I also wear glasses.

I adore this mod, as I prefer realism over NMS's cartooney aesthetic. Wonderful job.

By the way, do you plan, if possible, to change the colors of the glowing outlines on planets to white? I don't know the proper name for them, but you can see the yellow one in the first preview screenshot.

Regardless of whether or not you do that, kudos to you for your work.

      Thanks.
The yellow glow on the first screen is a stylised atmospheric diffraction and is shader based, so we can't mod it for now.
They are not all yellow and could be of any colour depending on the sun angle relative to the planet position and yours.

    Bonsoir !
    Plusieurs petites choses :
    - comme dans un des post, "blackspace" ne fonctionne pas : j'ai un "beau ciel bleu" vaporeux avec des nébuleuses ;
    - comment fait-on la mise à jour avec les fichiers lua ?
    - comment peut-on obtenir un fichier lua à partir d'un mod qui ne semble pas devoir être actualisé (pour usage personnel) ?
    - j'ai demandé à Redmas/Jo qui m'a répondu qu'il ne se souvient plus de tout ça !! D'ailleurs, en me demandant de te transmettre son bonjour, il souhaite que tu rejoignes son Discord (tu trouveras le lien sur la page de "No Man's Sky Utopia Revamp") ... voilà, message transmis.

"Makes Space black. Includes a .lua file and installation notes"
So there's an installation note in the .zip file
