PLEASE UPDATE FOR WORLDS PT 2! Please, please. I converted the paks to the proper format but when I load into the game all the planets are black , it is definitely not compatible with the new game files.

Hello, I haven't played in a while, but this is one of my favorite mods! Is it compatible with the latest update? Thanks!

Edit: In case anyone is curious, the mod is still working as of today. Thank you Kaii!

Are you sure? If I try to put this mod in the MODS folder the game crashes on startup

      Hi drkaii,

If you are still around, can you update this mod for the latest NMS 4.65? It no longer works and crashes the game on startup.
Can you update this mod's .lua files so that it is easier for other modders to update your work in future?

Sorry, my father passed away recently, so I've been a bit out of it. I'll get this updated soon. Not sure what is wrong with the .lua files?

Greetings, I first wanted to say thank you for this mod as I really love how it adds to my experience in the game!

I wanted to ask, is there a way I could get (whether via new mod or editing config files...although I'm amateur at best) a way to make it so that the day is longer but the night is the same/shorter than vanilla settings? I have a paradise base but for some reason this planet, even with no mods enabled, experiences the night being at least twice as long as the day and it's not my preference...thanks for your time!

No as far as I'm told, that's impossible, sorry. Closest alternative would be using the stop-the-clocks mod and hope it's in the day side, although that gets rid of night.

Glad you like the mod, thanks for lmk!

A lot of people like to leave feedback or requests on mod pages, y'know?..

But me, I'm just here to say I hope life is treating you well, that your business is the good kinda busy, and with my fondest regards to Gnome Ann for letting us experience her skies. Take care out there..!

I have two questions, can the model be used today after so many updates? And second, is it compatible with DUD Sky?

Now I fixed it it can be used. It can't be used with Dud's sky mods but can be used with his other mods

Thanks for the reply, so I guess your night skies mod is not compatible with DUD Sky either, just to confirm, have a nice day :)

The NMS Fractal update breaks this mod, the most important of your sky colour mods. The other 2, 1000 nights and dawns and dusks, still work. Please do take a look when possible

Don't worry, will do. Just waiting for mbincompiler

Maybe they already asked it before, but is it compatible with other sky mods? Because I have DUDS Sky installed

Last I checked Dud's Sky Colours, the sky colours sub mod broke the game. Thus I understand that all sky colour mods are broken until mbincompiler is updated for the fractals update

Drkaii, I have a question regarding your lua files for the mod. Using the .lua file with AMUMSS generates a much smaller .pak file, but the pak file created by you is 6MB in size approximately. I think that is because it includes those 100000 colours in the file. But the file generated by AMUMSS from your lua is only 3kB in size. Will it also generate those 100000 colours?

I don't think it will. How does one create a lua file defining 100000 colours?

Thanks, I'll have a look. I probably screwed up and you are the first to give feedback. Won't be today but soon.

Thanks for the update, drkaii! In your new seperated downloads, the .lua file just defines the colour indexes as 99999. What about the colours? Is it possible to generate 100000 colours using only a lua file?

Hey just a quick  question. I use vortex to install most my nms mods, but some I do manually because it requires it, i was curious if this is one of those mods that do better manually installed then using vortex because when I go into my mods folder there's all 3 options in there twice, the pak versions and the lua versions. Now, I have been playing a little bit and seems to be working I think, but idk if there was an optimal way to install it or its fine using vortex for it.

      Hi

I recently made this into a "mod collection" and so I downloaded the Nexus tool. Thus, I am learning how that works and will probably be able to answer your question better soon. I might split the mod into 3 files and have it work that way, then it will certainly work with Nexus without any faff.

Check back in a week or 2 (IRL v busy atm)

      Cheers

Hey thanks for getting back to me on this, I appreciate it.
I understand the need to research more into something before giving a answer. playing since a bit and seems to be running fine.
I hope whatever you be doing IRL is doing good.

      Cheers.
