Hello. After the update today this mod is causing base structures to de-render. It doesn't seem to matter how large the base is. I had a spot I wanted to build at and it only has a portal, 2 solar panels, and a battery. The base computer, and thus the base icon marker, is right next to them though. Changing the base graphics setting doesn't seem to affect it either.
This what happens when an update breaks a mod. This one needs to be updated after today's update to prevent such issues. PS : I updated the mod in the meanwhile.
dont have other mods that mess with the markers, so i assume this is an issue with this mod..... The marker for our spaceship, it fades in/out as a big icon in the center of the screen when we face the ship. it doesnt position itself at the spaceship location as intended. No matter the distance, when turning to face the ship, icon starts fading in until we look straight forward to the ship and it gets full image (not faded) when facing the ship, big marker in the screen as if it was right in our face.
This issue happens because one of your mods has not been updated (or you missed to update it) for the current version of the game. It's probably not a marker related mod as the edited file is used by a lot of base building mods.
There's actual logic behind vanilla behavior. Marker height depends on player distance from it and/or being obstructed by terrain. Still a good option for those who prefer them to be exact.
By any chance, do you think it would be possible to make a mod that makes it show the distance to each icon without needing to mouse over each one? That way if there are, say, two resource deposits I see, I can look at a glance to know which is closer without having to mouse over both.
This reminded me of something... back in pre-1.5 the "unknown building" marker would show up from farther away and without using the analysis visor. I'm talking about the round green one with the question mark. Do you think it might be possible to make it behave that way again? I tried digging into this some time ago but couldn't find anything useful.
You might have another issue because the 2 mods don't modify the same files so should not conflict. Maybe check if the DISABLEMODS.txt file has not been recreated in your PCBANKS folder due to the Leviathan update.
