What is this Mod?
This mod takes half of all planets in every system, and causes that half to become the planet type of your choice as long as the mod is installed. There are 11 options:

- Barren
- Dead
- Exotic
- Frozen
- Lush
- Radioactive
- Scorched
- Toxic
- Weird
- Swamp
- Lava

Excellent for casual control of your game experience or for forcing an abundance of specific planets to test your own mods. :)

Any planets converted by the Planet Type Converter will be reverted when the converter is uninstalled.... and converted back again if re-installed.  This change is client side.

In the .zip, there are several different packs, each with a name that indicates a planet type. Whichever planet type you want to see tons of, use the .pak with the name of that planet type.  Use only one at a time.

Philosophy
Personally I just wanted to test mods, but some others expressed a lack of time or will to go sifting for hours or days to find certain kinds of planets or may have found themselves in a problematic position during the early game.

Known Side-Effects
This mod has the power to alter the planetary types of online mission planets, particularly the weekend missions. The mod should be temporarily uninstalled when doing missions which require specific planet types to appear normally.

When a planet that has been previously explored is forcibly changed to another type, discovery data will be disrupted. Flora, Fauna, and minerals on the planet may change and previous discovery data on them will be overwritten.

About Available Versions
MBINCompiler version used will match the NMS and MOD versions. Any older mod that is no longer compatible with the current version of No Man's Sky will be demoted to the "Old Files" subsection, but will remain available for download. If I have missed one, please tell me.

This means that any mod files which are not hidden or demoted to the "Old Files" area can be expected to work.

MBINCompiler versions exactly match the version of No Man's Sky that was current when the MBINCompiler was made. In other words, MBINCompiler version = NMS version. This fact can be used to figure out which Legacy mods work with which Legacy versions of No Man's Sky.

Big thanks to any and all of you lovely people who offer donations! It is greatly appreciated, and will help me buy lunch while I'm busy being a broke college student! :D

And, of course, all of the other modders who make mods too! It is very common that I inspect the work of other modders to learn how things are done. RangerDulannRedmasWoodyMontanajasondudeGumskMjjstralmoddinaccount, Devilin Pixy, saa044, and others have all helped me learn how to mod effectively! Without the other people mentioned here and their mods and applications, I would not be able to make any mods at all!
