I have both mods installed, yet my ship is "out of range" at 306u. It says "teleporting items" between 200-300u. The teleport one doesn't seem to work properly :/
HG changed the message to "teleporting items" to tell it uses the teleport module but sadly, it looks like the out of range one. You can transfer items though...
Heyo, imma trying to setting up mi mod to play NMS with my friend... and when I try to update mi mod list (by merging some mods with AMUMMS) I got this message.
>>> [NOTICE] ModScript sub-folder >>> Better Ship Teleport Module Range 5.9\METADATA\REALITY\TABLES\ <<< (and its sub-folders) are too deep and will not be used.
might need Lua for (this) mod with deep sub folder structure... or maybe I need to find way to increase AMUMMS "diving" capability. --currently tyring to figure this out -- :3
Thank you so much for your mods! I've been using them for several years now (almost since they came out). But I always used LUA files for these mods (if they were not there, I downloaded the PAK file and extracted it via AMUMSS lua, edited it for myself (in this case, I increased or decreased the radius of direct resource transfer or via teleport), and then created my own pak file, sometimes combining it with other mods into one large file (especially if two or more mods edit one original game file). IN SHORT: AMUMSS has already been updated to version WPII (5.5+). I don’t know yet how it works now (I haven’t tried compiling), but it still requires lua files to work. PLEASE, add LUA files to all your mods! Sometimes you have to use mods from different authors that change the same game file, but in different aspects. And I’m not sure that the game correctly calculates if there are several identical files in the new format changing the same file. AMUMSS will help to avoid this... P.S. Please sorry if you were planning to do this anyway or if the old lua files still work... But I decided to write anyway, because AMUMSS has finally been updated...
Hello and glad you like my mods. Since Worlds Part 2, we are able to create mods targeting the exact lines modifying a game aspect via .exml file. This is how this mod was written and so the included exml file only edit the transfer range and nothing else. Thus it can't be incompatible with anything. And as .exml mods have priority over .mbin mods, even a mod editing the whole file (.mbin) would be overwritten with the correct range, so no lua is really needed anymore for mods written this way, and as far as possible, I write my mods this way but for those I can't do it, I join a .lua file as usual.
When you reach 200m, the ship holgogram becomes blue with a red label, but the label says you are now in reach for teleportation of items, so you can still exchange items between your inventory and the ship inventory (I just tested).
This mod doesn't work for me. The range is at its limit after 50 meters. I've tried it with AMUMSS and without. I've also tried with just this mod active without any other mods but always the same result. :(
I just tested to be sure but the mod still works as described for me. Be sure to check the installation notes provided, you maybe missed something, or check any conflict with another mod.
I have no conflicts. I have merged the mods and tested them individually. I cannot transfer anything in my spaceship that is further than 50u away.As already mentioned, I tested this mod alone without any other mods and it still says spaceship is out of range at 50u.
I don't know what else to do.
I tried it again and studied it. It turned out that the translation was wrong for me. Everything works perfectly. Thank you for your effort anyway.
Bought this on pc after playing over 100 hours on ps5 and am experimenting with mods. Your installation guide you seem to have in all your mods is a nice touch for a noob. Big question though. When I play palworld with mods there are two types: pak and lua. Your file, says that other lua mods could interfere with this one even though it seems optional when you say we just have to drop the pak file into the mods folder. What am I missing? Yeah it doesn't work right away so if you could guide me in the right direction that would help
DO NOT put LUA files in the NMS MODS folder. LUA files are for people to compile/merge their own version of the MOD, because people who use a lot of mods, may be using 2-20 mods that all edit the same files, so they have to be merged into one big mod (Like me for example)

Is one overwriting the other?
I also have them in the correct path now.
What the difference between Ship Teleport Module Range, and Ship Transfer Range?
From the description, it sounds like the two add up, but they aren't. I only have the 200m range, not to 600m range
I have both parts of the mod installed, and am not getting 600m from the 400 and 200 combined.
NMS_REALITY_GCTECHNOLOGYTABLE.MBIN
Fixed with 5.7

Just use the PAK.
