Just a comment on version management, Mod Organizer complaining about versioning, Mod Page details version 4.8, while your file states v.4.7. so MO is stating version mismatch, I know I can tell it to ignore it, this is just FYI ;3 Thanks for this and your other Mods.
Yes, if you are talking about checking to make sure it's set to "false", it is set to false. I may be confuse with a different mod but I could of sworn that this also had the softer landing as well?
nope, I was speaking about the "This mod should not need any merging since Worlds Part 2 update" written in the installation notes, to answer your question about luas. lua will still be needed for some mods, but for simple mods like this one they are not needed anymore.
I've been using your mods for many years now and super appreciate the work you do in keeping them maintained! The master list of compatibility is awesome and super helpful! Anyway, I personally know how much work goes into creating and maintaining stuff like this so I try to avoid making requests, but I was wondering if it would be possible to have a version of this mod that implements the same lower landing drop height as the old Better Landings mod? It's still the one thing left that really irritates me about landings - looks kinda comical seeing a ship just suddenly drop from such a height. I have looked into adding this functionality myself but I've found it really difficult being on Linux (AMUMSS has been a pain to use and I still haven't been able to use it entirely well dual booting into Windows just to create .paks) so super appreciate someone else putting the time and effort in. Also understand if this is asking too much :)
Hi, thanks for your kind words. I just recreated the .lua file of Better Landings to see how it looks ingame and on my side, I prefer the actual game landings. They are indeed still a bit rough, but HG made them much softer than before. Anyway, I posted the updated Better Landings .lua in the mod comments in order for anyone wanting very very soft landings to enjoy them, so you're free to grab it there if you prefer this landing variant.
Is there a way to merge (not a compatibility patch) this mod with Galaxy S Flight Ultra ? The lua file of the other mod is.. not like others and, even for only one value to change, I'm unable to edit it..
I know how to merge mods but this one (Galaxy S Flight Ultra) doesn't merge well. It automatically create a compatibility patch .pak and not a merged .pak. The lua doesn't edit values but insert a table (I think)..
Indeed. Weird. PS : not weird, that Compatibility name was chosen as the resulting mod name by Winder as you can see at the end of his script : ["MOD_BATCHNAME"]= "~~GalaxySFlightUltra_COMPATIBILITY.pak", So despite the name, the resulting mod is the combination of both mods (I checked and the flat landing changes are in).

There's also the 2 links in the mod description sending to pages with insight about merging since Worlds Part 2:
- CHECK IF THIS MOD IS COMPATIBLE WITH LATEST GAME VERSION
- CHECK IF THIS MOD NEEDS TO BE MERGED WITH ANOTHER OF MY MODS
