Asteroid have been completely revamped in 4.0 game version so this mod is starting from new grounds.
What it does so far (I intend to improve on it) :
- removes lone asteroids present everywhere in space
- makes mineable asteroid a little bigger and makes them spawn in the regular asteroid fields (v3.1 : fixed large asteroid popin)
- spaces a little more regular asteroid fields and reduces a little their overall size (v3.1)
- avoids very small asteroids (v3.1)
At least you can now fly in space without seeing asteroids everywhere.
Optional mods :
- Improve asteroid explosions with Better Asteroid Explosions
- Make asteroids more dangerous with Asteroids Hits
- Get Tritium only asteroids with Tritium Asteroids
Compatibility :
- CHECK IF THIS MOD IS COMPATIBLE WITH LATEST GAME VERSION
- CHECK IF THIS MOD NEEDS TO BE MERGED WITH MY OTHER MODS
- An AMUMSS .lua script is provided as this mod can't be used along any other mod editing GCSOLARGENERATIONGLOBALS.GLOBAL.MBIN file.
