Mod looks to be only partially functional now, needs LUA update. {>>> METADATA\SIMULATION\SOLARSYSTEM\BIOMES\DEAD\DEADOBJECTSDEAD.MXML MapFileTree creation/update done by 2nd thread -> Based on PRECEDING_KEY_WORDS: >>> {"DistantObjects",}, <<< Looking to >>> add some text <<< after LINE with Property name ["DistantObjects"] and value ["IGNORE"] of type [STRING] >>> Replace [ONCE] based on key_words: {"DistantObjects",}, >>> Creating [38;2;22;198;12mHOS[0m -- Lines 7 - 190 ADDED using text in ["ADD"] -> Based on PRECEDING_KEY_WORDS: >>> {"Objects","Objects",}, <<< Looking to >>> add some text <<< after LINE with Property name ["Objects"] and value ["IGNORE"] of type [STRING] >>> Replace [ONCE] based on key_words: {"Objects","Objects",}, -- Lines 194 - 338 ADDED using text in ["ADD"] -> Based on SPECIAL_KEY_WORDS pairs: >>> <"Objects","GcEnvironmentSpawnData.xml"> <<< and PRECEDING_KEY_WORDS: >>> {"DetailObjects",}, <<< [[WARNING]] Some SPECIAL_KEY_WORDS cannot be found. Yes it does. Updated for 4.07 and current NMS version is 4.08. Not updated to 4.08 because there were no changes between NMS 4.07 --> 4.08 for the files this mod changes.
Basically, you should be good to go, at the moment, with any mod updated since November 2022. Enjoy. :)
Can I run this mod with a higher priority than NMS BEYOND FANTASY, so this mod will control the Dead Planets, but the BEYOND FANTASY mod will still function as intended on other world types? Is this how mod conflicts work? Or will this mod win and all BEYOND FANTASY planets not show up?
Reguler and Light versions, while they still existed that way, just had one with an extra file that forced more planets to be dead, and one without. Since I've pu up a mod that has several different kinds of rarity boosters including one for dead, there's no longer a reason for the Deadzone mod to have it built in.
Also, TBH, Extra Biomes actually has more cool Dead worlds than Deadzone does at this point
Posted a bug about the insides of space stations and certain planets being washed out using the light version. Please fix if you can cause I love this mod!
Normal unmodded No Man's Sky will transfer the primary planet's filter onto the space station and other things incorrectly. It's actually a vanilla bug, and an old one, too. The Deadzone mod makes it a lot more likely that the primary planet has a dramatic filter though, so it becomes a lot more obvious with the mod going.
Dang, so no way to get rid of it? Is there some value in the mod files I can tweak to remove the washed out filter altogether? Because this mod was the first time I've ever seen a filter like this on a planet.
Finally NMS can feel a little more like an actual SPACE game, instead of a loosely space skinned generic exploration game. This goes leaps and bounds into making the game much more immersive. Hope you will further expand on it, together with your extra biomes mod: the more "dead" variety the better! ;)

Thanks Exo for yet an other great and nice Mod ! :)
Nop not using E.B., that's a merge of 4 with one of your Mod, "Grass Fix 4 - Carpet Bomber", but isn't involved here, it's "Increased Draw Distance and LOD", the "DEADOBJECTSDEAD.MBIN" file.

EDIT: NVM I think I got it. Just remove the "default" lines of text for the filters in the DEADBIOME.mbin
