It works but to make it "simple" download hex workshop. that is the only thing that is not specified.

The save works 100%. People dont understand that you need to hex edit and decrypt the save inorder to use it.

    Heres how it works:
Steam Save file to Epic SAve File = you need to hex edit and decrypt and encrypt
Steam SAve file to Steam SAve File = you need to hex edit and decrypt and encrypt.
The reason is...Steam Saves are encrypted. Its easy.

Instructions (In my case, Im using an EPIC game save)
    1. Download a Hex Editor
    2. Download Nioh Decryptor tool: https://github.com/pawREP/Nioh-Savedata-Decryption-Tool
and put it anywhere on your desktop. Its just an exe. Leave it alone for now.
    3. Find your real Epic SAve and leave it alone for now.
    4. Download a SAVE you want to use. (Lets call this a steam save)
    5. Open Hex Editor and open YOUR EPIC SAVEDATA00/SAVEDATA.BIN. (YOUR REAL SAVE)
    6. Once opened, look for OFFSET h - Lines 10, 11, 12, 13. Copy those numbers below as in the picture provided and COPY AND PASTE on a text document. (Your numbers will be different than the photo)
    7. Now look for OFFset h- Lines 80 through 9f and copy that string of numbers and COPY AND PASTE on a text document as well. (It will look like this--- 56 A2 8D E7 49 9F 6A 6F C7 BD 9E 2B 28 5B 69 EC BD EF AD A9 50 8B A9 76 C0 25 ED 9C D6 09 F6 B3)

-THIS PART IS STRICTLY FOR YOUR DOWNLOADED SAVE YOU WANT TO USE-
    8. Go to your downloaded save file and drag the SAVEDATA.BIN right on the Drecryptor Tool exe. (Yes, drag your save onto the little icon)
It will automatically decrypt your downloaded save for you.
    9. The Press ENTER and it will close.
    10. Refresh the Downloaded SAve And youll see "decr_SAVEDATA.BIN (This is the one we'll be using now. So, delete the other one in there.)
    11. Repeat steps 8-11 for the other save inside of SYSTEMSAVEDATA00. Once youre finished, move on to step 12. We're half way there.

    -PAY CLOSE ATTENTION-
    12. Open decr_SAVEDATA00 with HEX EDITOR.
    13. Find Offset h - lines 10, 11, 12, 13 and PASTE IN WHAT YOU WROTE DOWN EARLIER.
    14. Find Offset h - lines 80 through 9f and PASTE IN WHAT YOU WROTE DOWN EARLIER.
    15. Then SAVE and close hex editor.
    16. Repeat steps 12-15 for SYSTEMSAVEDATA00
    17. (Sometimes Hex Editor will leave a .BAK file. Just delete it. Its only a back up you dont need.)

    -WE'RE ALMOST DONE! -
    18. Now drag your "Decr_" saves onto the Nioh Decryptor tool icon and it will automatically Re-Encrypt it for you. (Only do one at a time.)
    19. Press enter to close tool.
    20. Now you should see "decr_decr_" on your save file name.
    21. Just RENAME THE FILE and delete the "decr_decr_" infront of the file name. Do this for both files.
    22. Now...just take your modified saves and put those saves inside your nioh save folder location.
    23. Thats it! Now thank the original poster for his hard work for his save file and enjoy. Cheers!

-THIS WORKS 100% as of today. If its not working for you, youre not following my instructions correctly and youre doing something wrong on your end.

I just had that same issue. What I did was edit the BOTH of the .BIN files that were included in this zip, then copied both to their respective folders in my savegame directory.

Did it step by step, didn't work. Edited the downloaded SAVEDATA.BIN with HexEditor to match my previous SAVEDATA.BIN's values then copied that single file into my SAVEDATA00 folder and SYSTEMSAVEDATA00 folder in My Documents and Replaced both, just like the instructions say.

I think this is one of those "Simple Explanations" that doesn't explain everything and presumes you know you have to do or not do something else.

Seriously the explanation is clear. What do you mean by isnt that clear. You just try to justify your laziness.
