Did you ever notice that the year on the poster in the intro is 2025?
    Spoiler:
    Show

    F.A.Q.

    Q:
    Is this compatible with TTW?
A: Yes! Just select the TTW version. Compatible with TTW 3.3 and 3.4.

Q: Can this be installed mid-game?
A: Probably? As long as you haven't done the intro quest, it should work fine.

Q: Can I skip the intro?
A: Sure, just don't install this mod.

Q: I'm getting an error that a quest or script is being overwritten. Why?
A: You have something from this mod being overwritten, and it'll break things. Move this mod lower in your load order to fix it. If a patch is needed, let me know.

Q: You say that the mod is "Cleaned", but there are ITMs on some Dialogue Topics in xEdit. Why?
A: The order of the Dialogue Topics were changed, which xEdit seems to mark as an ITM; but its not. Do not delete these records in the plugin, or run the xEdit "AutoClean" on this plugin, as the topics will be put out of order which will break the scene.

Q: Why is the download so big?
A: Because of the cut down intro video that is provided.

Q: What do you mean by "Season 2"?
A: Just meant "Remastered" in this case, but is a reference to the upcoming Season 2 of the show being in New Vegas. Let me have my fun.

Q: Are the "expanded" lines AI voices?
A: NO. All voiced lines are already included in the base game. Benny's modified lines were taken/spliced from the original opening video, as they are iconic to the character.

Have you considered editing Jessup's face so he looks like the boulder city version?

Oh, I never noticed that they look different. I'll script something up so the Jessup used in the opening inherits the appearance of the Jessup in Boulder City.

Is this sequentially compatible with Axonis's Vanilla Intro Plus? (Various FNV mods by Axonis). It basically introduces an in-game cutscene where Victor digs you out of the grave.

No, this is not compatible with that mod as it overwrites the intro quest as well.

The scene where Victor digs you out of the grave is part of the restored intro, so it is included here as well.

Pretty good stuff, I remember trying out the original mod a few years back and saw good reason why it was cut. Doesn't stop me from appreciate the effort put into this, other than me noticing Benny shoots out of  his left shoulder(which I doubt can be fixed too easy) does look solid.

Yea, it was definitely a better decision to cut this and use a pre-rendered intro cinematic for the initial release. Even for 2010 standards this was pretty rough, and the FMV is just iconic to this game (even people who haven't played the game have seen it). However, I think as a transition from TTW to New Vegas (or for something that lets you play the game before the main quest, like Alternate Start), this is more immersive.

I did try to make Benny actually shoot from his gun by using FireWeaponEx, which is supposed to let me choose where the shot comes from, but it doesn't seem to work. Not sure if I'm using it wrong or its broken, still testing on that. I also tried to make him shoot for real and just do 0 damage, but he ends up hitting Jessup more often than not (which is hilarious, but wrong).

Haven't tried that one yet, but maybe. Will give it a go, and will release a new version if needed.

Did a quick test, and yes! It is compatible! Was able to take the train to Freeside, went to Primm, became a Courier, and got shot via this scene.

However, you will be shown the intro video again when you go to start the main quest. You can just skip it by pressing escape, the scene will then start normally.  I'll add a quick check to skip the video if you have this mod installed. Will be included in the next release, just going to wait a few more days in case there's anything else I need to tweak/fix.

Does the long shot through new vegas ending in a headshot still play?

I'm assuming you mean the intro cinematic. It doesn't go all the way anymore. It goes up to the part with the Legion, and then cuts forward to the narration. That ending shot with Benny and the Courier tied up is cut out, as I didn't want to show the player character at all.
