Recurring challenges can bring a multitude of different rewards - most commonly an XP source, but sometimes they can also have perk rewards. It never made sense to me that challenges always have the same threshold though, so every 50 kills of robots you get a new rank of the perk, or every 50 explosive kills you get a good chunk of xp. It always felt to me from a role-playing perspective that to get a reward for a repeated challenge like this, you should have to do more things. After all, if you only ever do 10 curls with a 25 pound dumbbell every time you go lift (we're new vegas modders, we don't do exercise), your growth will eventually slow done. If you only ever make small scriptrunners (*cough cough*) then your knowledge as a modder can only go so far.
In essence - to get the same amount of growth out of an activity, you have to do more of that activity. Hence this idea came to fruition - in order to complete a challenge over and over again, you have to do that challenge more times.
Configuration
This mod comes with a configurable ini. There are 2 different scaling modes available, as well as the scaling factor.
iScalingMethod - Method of scaling challenges. 0 = Linear, 1 = Exponential
fScalingFactor - Factor by which a challenge's threshold increases expressed as a decimal percentage (i.e. 0.25 = 25%, 1.00 = 100%, or twice the number of actions)
Linear scaling means that a challenge's threshold will always increase by the same amount. So if the threshold is set to 0.25, and linear scaling is turned on, when completing a recurring challenge that requires 100 actions, the next time it will require 125. And then it will require 150, then 175, and so on. I imagine this is what most players will choose.
Exponential scaling means that a percentage of the current threshold is added. So if the scaling factor is set to 1.00 (meaning the threshold increases by 100%) and you complete a recurring challenge with an initial threshold of 100 actions, the next time it will require 200, and then 400, and then 800. This method is primarily intended for very long playthroughs where completing some of these challenges will still be feasible after long enough.

Compatible with all challenges, vanilla and mod-added.
Optional Additions
There is also an optional file to remove the recurring flag from some of the most easily exploitable challenges in the game. This currently only contains All Things in Modder Nation. Stewie's tweaks allows for removing weapon mods, so you can effectively add and remove them infinitely to complete this challenge. As other easily exploitable challenges are discovered, I plan to add them to this list, as even with the scaling it is still just a test of patience for how much the player wants to repeat these actions to farm easy, quick, exploitable xp.
