Would it be possible to do this but for the Hand Held Pip-Boy 2500? The reason why I ask is because the 2000 and 2000mk VI have patches that let you find them out in the world.
The Pip-Boy 2000 standalone patch was actually made by me!
As of handheld Pip-Boys, I don't have any intention to include them into any of my mods functionalities. This is due to them being unrecommended in the main modding guides out there (Viva New Vegas, The Best Of times, Wasteland Survival Guide, etc) because that kind of pipboy mods are essentially prone to visual bugs and stuttering and problems.
Would it be possible to do this with any hand held pipboy? Well, yes, if they have standalone versions, then yes it is possible. But I'm not gonna do it.
That's 100% fair and honestly I removed the hand held pipboy from my load order too since it i began feeling it was redundant but thanks for the response!
Also thanks for the patch makes it a lot more lore friendly and fun to find these pipboys in the world for me.
So when i go thru the entire thing with doc mitchell, i still somehow have the pip boy 3000. Like i equip the pipboy 2000, but it shows i have the 3000 still in my inventory.
I'm asumming you're using the vanilla version of this mod and not the BHYSYS version. I'll check on it, cause I may have forgotten to remove the Pip-Boy 3000 from the player on that version. Check out later today for updates!
I think I'll have to update the mkVI mod too smh
EDIT: huh? Just tested the mod myself, both versions, and I don't have that problem... Try to enter the following command: player.removeitem pipboy 25 1 Which essentially removes 25 units of pipboy3000 from your inventory. Then continue playing as if nothing happened.
With a quick look through that mod you linked, it seems it incorporates its own way of making the Pip-Boy 2000 standalone. That means it probably uses diferent EditorID for the Pip-Boy 2000 than my own standalone version, linked in the description. Also, this mod supposes you DO NOT acquire any Pip-Boy other than 3000 in the DC part of TTW.

Edit: do we need to use the selector linked in the description or would using the Pip-Boy or Readius Selector by ashjay101 work the same?

A future version could solve this incompatibility, however. But for now, this mod is INCOMPATIBLE with Pip-Boy or Readius Selector. Use Pip-Boy Selector Menu instead.
